As I suspected, it was Joe Scarbourough, a republican, that advanced such add and not Geist, as implied by the headline.

Wolf, I think you need to look at the clip again. It was Geist who said Republican attacks have worked pretty well. That aside, I don't get what MMFA's purpose of posting this is. Besides, Scarborough himself later said he thought it was despicable that Obama would be attacked for taking a vacation with his daughters. Why doesn't MMFA post that?

Yes, President Obama, while you take your week of vacation, (versus the whole month like the former President, Governor Bush)come back to D.C. ready to drop that nasty public option and cut the costs of people who have insurance. And if that action continues to cut off nearly 20% of the U.S. population from health care, well, then so be it. We only want you to make sure that you make more profits for the insurance companies and Big Pharma, you know, the people with money and health care coverage. Those other people will just have to suffer or die, because if we extended them coverage, it would cut into our profit margin! (And maybe we wouldn't have so much money to contribute to Republican campaign coffers.)

Good point. That seems to be the standard MO of a good number of health insurance companies.

Instead of pointing out the falsehoods of that ad they comment on the voice that is used in the ad and "the beach is nice this time of year".

I'm glad Morning Joe comes on from 3-6am here in the west. I couldn't stomach that show from the little I've seen. They should all be employed by FOX.

THese people remind me of a militant group. THe way the GOP is politicing, it seems to look more like tactic than democracy or the process of politics. THe way the party is moving is a war tactic style and this is not healthy. Whe looking into the way wars are fought and law is administered under Republican majority, regular americans vs. real americans had better be concerned. They seem to cause a diversion from the situation, divide allegience, and then move with tactical violence. THis is evidence of a secret organization in government with a private political and social agenda outside of maintaining the constitution or respecting the check and balance of systems that we have. You have people thinking that their position and military training positions them to direct the policies of this country. These people aren't just oppositional to the Health Care Policy, they are oppositional to any one who isn't militant (military), supremist in nature and rhetoric, or not in accord with the Good Old Boys southern doctrine. THey aren't even tactful or graceful with how they push their agenda, just blatantly anti-negro and anti-minority.

WHERE IS THE VOICE OF POLITICIANS DURING AND ANARCHIST TONE? DO THEY FEEL THAT COMBINED THEY HAVE THE MILITIA TO DEFEAT THEIR OWN GOVERNMENT IF THEY DON'T WIN IN THIS HEALTH CARE ISSUE? I SEE COCKYNESS AND SUPPORT FROM OFFICIALS IN THIS INSURGENCY!!!!! HOW? BY NOT SPEAKING OUT ABOUT CITIZENSHIP AND OUR PROCESS OF DEMOCRACY.
