Oh the irony. Conservative groups mocking Obama taking a vacation? Please. Now watch this drive.

The President and his family deserve a vacation. It is only a week and a weekend, my family was gone for two weeks when I was a kid. Why should the Obamas stay in D.C. right now, most of Congress has gone home to vacation and meet with their constituents, so there really isn't a reason to hang out in the White House for the month. And besides, D.C. in the August heat is terrible.

"Actually, I think the president's overexposed . . . he probably needs to step back a little bit and let other people talk about this issue, 'cause he's overexposed on this." - John Feary

Oh -- so now Obama SHOULD let others speak for him on an issue?

Not too long ago, conservatives RAISED HELL when someone else spoke . . .

Is there anything that conservative groups won't mock about this President?

      What a stupid ad.
Only the right wing could come up with something so stupid and hypocritical.

Next, former Alaskan Gov. Sarah Palin taking cheap shots at Pres. Obama going on vacation (with his family) from her Facebook page. LOL

Wasn't Bush already on his second brush-clearing excursion to Crawford by this point in his presidency?

Of course, the August '01 vacation was the one where he told his briefer "Okay, you've covered your @$$", in response to the warnings about Osama bin Laden's determination to attack within the US. And as we all remember, he then cut short his vacation and foiled the worst attack on US soil since Pearl Harbor. Oh wait...

The ad smarmily starts right off the bat: "The beach is nice this time of year." The Republican Stategist has the gall to say that nobody is begrudging his vacation.

The ad might as well have said, "Must be niiiice."

I guess Andrea is an example of the right wing media. But wait didn't I hear Feary say that there is nothing wrong with Obama's vacation.

But Feary's comment doesn't change the ad's opening smarmy line criticizing Obama's vacation.

Feary was trying to make it look that there was no problem with the ad. He said, "The ad said that when he comes back, drop the public option and I think that that is the message of the ad." Then he lies, "Nobody's begrudging him his vacation." when actually the ad did.
