The idiot is back.
"The last thing I want to do is be a fearmonger...I'm not a fearmonger..."
Beck refuses to yield to his meal determining masters
It's the same fury I feel when asked to press "one" for English.
It seems certain now that the worms that've been feeding on Glenn's brain are munching their way into the core.
Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
I love the imagery! True and twisted in so many ways!
I'm actually hopeful, Mr. Beck. For the first time in eight years, I think we may have a government that responds, even if sluggishly, to the will of those it was created to represent.
I see fear in the insurance companies. Why else would they spend millions of dollars every week to push an agenda that is killing Americans?
I see fear in the conservative movement. Why else would they spend hours of TV/radio time each day trying in vain to label our President and his policies as racist? Muslim? Socialist? Marxist? Communist? Fascist? Nazi? Never once realizing many of these labels are in fact contradictory?
I see fear in that portion of America that fears any change, whether it be a black president or a public option to compete with private insurance. Why else would they protest legislation that will help lower their out of pocket health care costs?
I see fear in you, Mr. Beck. You are losing advertisers at a phenomenal pace.
But I also see hope. Hope displayed by the millions of Americans just like me, who know the benefits of a public option, and have educated themselves about what the bill actually says by reading it, and not letting others dictate meaning to them. I see hope in all those like me who refuse to fall for the lies that you and those like you tell.
Do not threaten the freedom of my children after applauding so loudly for the Patriot Act, sir. You have already proven that you care nothing about them, and nothing about freedom. You are for security at any cost. You have declared sides. You have chosen Fear. It is you who cowers, knowing that your value to society is falling like a meteor to earth.
Turn off Beck . . . he has NO idea what he's talking about and is one of the least educated people on television or radio. He is a high school dropout who brags about being "self-educated." He should fire his teacher.
What impact can they have? Could be positive , could be negative, but I don't see having experts in many fields working out issues as something that should cause immediate and automatic panic.
Besides, I just saw a report on TV about the newest batch of Czars. I had the sound off, but they arrived in a huge shiny limo, and were carrying an addendum to the health care legislation titled "To Serve Man", so it looks like they're working in our interests.
Fried
Conservatives?
**Shhhhhhhh . We're so close!**
Bush had almost twenty czars. So that's fine, but somewhere between that and thirty there's a tripwire that should alarm us that we're in danger of losing our freedom or some other nonsense.
Drug Czar
Faith based Czar
War Czar
WMD Czar
Energy Czar
Cybersecurity Czar
Regulatory Czar
AIDS Czar
Manufacturing Czar
Katrina Czar
Bird Flu Czar
Intelligence Czar
Copyright Czar
TARP Czar
Terrorism Czar
Border Czar
I mean, it's as if they (meaning conservatives) just found out about this Czar thing. Nixon started it, and every president since that time has had Czars of some sort or another.
This is just another "look over here" thing for republicans to gripe about, forgetting that this has been SOP for a long time, and really, not a big deal, and or could possibly help move things along.
Bush had well over 20 during his terms in office.
Insurers admit 50,000 employees lobbying Congress to claim profits fair
You should be worried that 50,000 people are lying to maintain the status quo instead of focusing on 30 people willing to challenge it.
Also, Murdoch is, first and foremost, a businessman. He's said that he will push the phony conservative mode on Fox until it is no longer a money maker for him. Maybe that time is coming soon.
Waitasec... didn't someone say something similar?
