The "death panels" are a widely debunked (including by CNN) smear, and veterans are not being pressured by the Obama VA to end their lives.

This is the way in which major media lends credence to this crap. As oppose to researching and then debunking this nonsense, they milk it for the purposes of ratings, and hence lowering themselves to the level of Faux Noise.

I could be mistaken, but I believe this is a discussion about the current process, not health care reform. But the irony is we are again talking about a process that has been in place during the bush administration. As was pointed out, contrary to republican claims, the counseling was not suspended during the bush administration, which once again goes to show ya how hypocritical the right is when they make their wild claims.

Whatever the case, it's yet another example illustrating the death of true journalism.

That's okay. I'll just watch The Daily Show tonight.

Aw crap. I forgot. Colbert is on vacation as well. Damn.

Well, that settles it. Self-imposed media blackout it is...

Although, they did replay the Colbert in Iraq show last night when Odierno shaved his head, which was ridiculously funny. And his basic training stint, also pretty darn funny.
