From the August 24 edition of Fox News' Hannity:

Look, a producers spot on his show just opened up.
Every American should have a living will. One of the questions should be very simple, and one that really cuts to the chase:
1. When I start sounding like Cal Thomas, is it time to pull the plug?
Btw, we sure hope FoxNews Channel pays Mr. Beckel ALOT of money to sit there as Sean spew out his 'nasty', 'made-up' "LIES" about President Obama, an American President and the Democrats. Just saying... LOL
Replace Vogons with Neocons......
"The Democrats, with their allies the Trial Lawyers, are now arguing that old people should make WILLS! That EVERYONE should have a plan for what happens to their PROPERTY when they DIE!
SEE? Democrats are harassing people to just DIE! And they want their wishes to be put on PAPER and WITNESSED by a NOTARY PUBLIC and put on file with a LAWYER like JOHN EDWARDS!! They are just SCARING PEOPLE all the time with their 'Death' talk! They want you to die!"
(And the real absurdity here is that the COMPLEXITY of ESTATE TAX LAW is one of the biggest reasons people need EoL counseling in the first place! (They need to know how to handle their estate so they don;t get screwed!) So either the republicans are betraying their traditinal stance of minimizing the estate tax, or they're admitting that it actually doesn't affect many of the people that will get this counseling! Either way, they're whole argument on that is shot! Al becuase the think they have to oppose EVERYTHING, even things they were in favor of one day before the democrats put it into the legislation!
In 2003, under the Republican administration of George W. Bush, “the Agency for Health care Research & Quality issued a 20-page report outlining a five-part process for patients to discuss end-of-life care with their physicians.” But who would pay for such a discussion? Medicare doesn’t cover it.
-This is a quote but I've misplaced the source. My apologies.
When governor of Texas, Mr. Bush's son signed a law that gave hospitals considerable latitude in the amount of treatment they were required to provide for terminally-ill patients. Perhaps he didn't understand it - but he sure did sign it.
It's explained here:

I look forward to Sheer "Hot Air" InSannity's Sunday night "Special:" "The Bushes - Father and Son - Dealers in Death."
Some one should remind him of The Clergy Letter Project. As of last count there were nearly 12,000 clergy who support and believe that evolution and religion are NOT mutually exclusive.
