Sound familiar?
The Constitution is a document that establishes our system of government. Further, each state admitted into the Union has a state Constitution, establishing the governance of that particular state. It is not an agreement between the people, the states, and the federal government.
Speaker Pelosi did not call protesters Nazis. Not once. Not kinda. Not a little bit. She pointed out that they were bringing swastikas to demonstrations, which they were. The swastikas were being used in an attempt to lable our President and his health reform initiative as Nazism by the demonstrators themselves.
Corporal, nobody is trying to foist socialism on you. Nobody is trying to 'indoctrinate' your kids. You want to know what your kids are learning in school? Admirable. Go to their school and talk to their teachers. Going to a town hall and accusing your congressman of socialism isn't helping you or your kids one tiny little bit. Got you on TV, though, huh?
It seems the town halls have settled down a little bit, if this is the best they can do on the right to keep this false meme going. Why don't they bother to cover actual interesting questions from these events? You know, something that might be newsworthy? Something they could investigate and then inform the American people about? Too much work, I suppose.
Mr. Pierce makes the same point that you do, and shows why and how it's all working in society today.
They get their healthcare paid for and taken care of, they get clothed and fed, they get free transportation, and so on and so forth.
