Videos aren't working for me again. Exactly how does Pat think this make Obama look like a wimp? Or is he just saying that he and other cons will protray Obama as a wimp?

I thought republicans were all about laws, and that nobody is above them? Isn't that sort of the point of these investigations, and potential prosecutions? That nobody is above the law?

I find it ironically funny that of course, Cheney has come out against this whole thing. He is probably behind a lot of this, and might get nailed.

You forget mags. They have one law for them, and a different one for us. It fits in nicely with their belief in a two party system. You remember, the masters and the slaves? Guess which one they want us to be?

Pat has it backwards here. Not investigating would be the politically expedient thing to do... it requires more guts to uphold the rule of law.

Of course, Pat may be referring to how Republicans will lie about the whole thing, in which case he has a point.

I'll say it once more... it's incredible to see these "Patriotic" Republicans insisting that The Law is not important in this case, yet they were absolutely hysterical over it when Clinton lied about his sex life.

Exactly, exactly right, and I thought Clinton should have been held accountable for his lies under oath about his affair, but not impeached. Censure should have been the path to take. Thanks to republicans wanting to be rid of Clinton, the articles of impeachment will probably never be used again, even if and when required, because they used it as a political witchunt.

Ah, the Jimmy Carter comparisons are being dusted off again.

Jimmy Carter + Adolf Hitler + Neville Chamberlain + Joseph Stalin = Obama.

He's a wishy-washy, go with the flow, iron-fisted fanatical dictator.

      Right...

Except, Jimmy Carter served his nation in the Navy and is an evangelical Christian. If he had an "R" next to his name, the republicans would have thought he was the second coming.

Jimmy Carter has recently left the Baptist Church.

          But I digress.

            Got me on that one.

OK, he was an evangelical, although, even though he left the Baptist church, he could still be an evangelical.

And, though you don't hear this often when his name comes up, but Neville Chamberlain was a Conservative PM.

And don't forget "illegal alien"... the fringe nuts in the Birther movement have a sub-nut-fringe that wants Obama deported.

      His logic is screwed up.
A wimp is someone who backs down every time and does as hes told.
A wimp looks the other way whilst nasty/illegal things are happening.
Mr. Obama is certainly not doing that.

How about his and Joe's arguments that Obama is destroying the morale of the CIA? As if this is a reason not to investigate.... So there should be no investigation because some in the CIA might get their feelings hurt and this would hurt national security?? This is an argument to never investigate the CIA or miltary. We might hurt their feelings and then the country would be vulnerable. LOL

Thing about the CIA, most of the men and women in there serve their country well, and in lots of cases, with distinction. I'm certain that their morale won't be taken down because they're trying to find out who the bad actors are in their presence, or were in their presence.
