News flash Rushy: The US is already perceived by the rest of the world as less than noble in our pursuits.

Yeah, it's a terrible thing to carry the weight of the world on our shoulders. How dare we.

It was actually Bush 43 who had to run around constantly looking over his shoulder.

This circle jerk of echo chamber guest appearances reminds me of the old Sammy Maudlin Show on SCTV. At least those guys were doing it for laughs.

Making the US the villain of the world?!?! Do you suppose Rush has ANY idea that this President is doing precisely the opposite of that. Obama is the garbage man following the trail of trash and broken relationships W left around the globe.

This post has stirred up in me something that had been dormant and almost forgotten for a while...which is to say the near RAGE I feel when I consider how Bush 43 had nearly the ENTIRE WORLD on his side during the last portion of the first year of his first term...and spent the next 7 years p!ssing that good-will away.

      Ridiculous!

Strange, none of these "pundits" said anything when Bush was doing it.
      Hypocrites.

Beck has been very vocal about his disagreements with Bush policies.

Yes he was. For instance, he didn't like the way bush swung an axe to clear brush on his phony ranch. Beck ranted for a whole week about how a chainsaw was much quicker.

Maybe when talking to his therapist. Certainly not on the air.

I have watched Beck's program just a handful of times and have heard him take Bush to task for a number of things, including the economy and the Patriot Act. You should educate yourself before you speak.

Please show us where Beck is against the Patriot Act.

You mean he was for it under Bush and then against it being used under Obama? Is that your attempt to show he is an unbiased lunatic. Please show us where Glenn Beck was against the Patriot Act when it was being passed. I would love for you to educate us.

You see, when you don't listen to his show (or worse, you are not intelligent enough to understand what's being said), you have no frame of reference, and you just make a fool of yourself.

Stark Colbert, have you ever provided a shred of evidence to back up any of your ridiculous claims?

Interesting that you now admit you listen to right-wing radio, though. I believe you used to say you did not.

I never said I listened to it but the person I was responding to clearly hasn't but is commenting on the content as if he/she knows. Do you understand now? By the way, have you provided a shred of evidence to back up your claims?

You know what's happening here, don't you? Beck losing his sponsors has been a wake-up call for the right wing talkers. So all week Beck has been touting his shows as special events. Sarah Palin is telling people to tune in. Rush Limbaugh makes an appearance (by phone)...and Beck rants about how the administration is trying to shut him up.

      --NEWSFLASH--

There is a reason most of the other nations high-tailed it after a while into the Iraq war. They didn't believe in the mess we started in the first place. They never really wanted to be there, we just sold them on the bogus "Axis of Evil" and "mushroom cloud" nonsense.

Can't help but notice that the photo of Rush that Fox uses is several years old, clearly taken during Rush's brief slimmed-down, married-to-an-aerobics-instructor period. He's a good 100 pounds heavier than that now.

No...Limbaugh says he has lost 82 pounds since, I believe, April. And, he says, he's going to continue dieting and lose more. I'm sure weight loss that rapidly is healthy, particularly for people with a history of addiction to heavy narcotics...or not.

Two spew worthy articles in a row. Rove worrying about centralizing power, and Obama trying too make us the villian of the world.
How the latter equates their call on apology world tours I'll never know.

OK,..someone correct my liberal ignorance here: These past two videos has a "former alcoholic"; man who's ADMITTED he's NOT a journalist, but an entertainer and comedienne, AND doesn't always base his "topics" on FACTS, saying we have NO FREE SPEECH or that we're LOSING free speech in this Country?? This same man and his vile guest have NO problem calling our President "Hitler", and incite countless numbers of violence with their fear-based hate speech,..and they're COMPLAINING about FREE SPEECH??!!!
As Colbert so aptly put it: "I'm sorry, I just Love Glenn Becks Sanity, and I fear for it"
If Faux nooz hasn't caught on this guy HAS LOST it, already...
      will they EVER??
