It was an interesting reason he gave for the Democrats' alleged weakness. The partisanship of Democrats.

And in four years, maybe eight, if there is no attack, will you say that the Obama administration kept us safe, or will you say that it was merely a result of the efforts during your administration that we remained safe?

It's a very easy thing to understand. Just like the Obama recession started while George W Bush was in the White House but seems to be receding now, due to the efforts of the Republicans when they controlled the congress back in 2006 and to the policies of the Bush administration which left office in January.

And since Bush and our ex vice president, General Woundwort, kept us safe since Clinton dropped the ball on 9/11, we should listen to all of his nightmares about our future. And if General has to torture a few innocents back at Efrafa to get to his perceived truth, so be it.

To simplify, anything that restores order to the financial, military or political world is a result of the diligence of the Republicans any set backs, financial, military or political are a direct result of Democratic infiltration by Marxists, Communists, Socialist and people who don't watch Fox.

Watch it. Your excessive knowledge of the conservative playbook might get you a call from FOX...offering you a job.

Worse, BillO could send his stalkerazzi after you. Security has to make some attempt to follow the law, in case the case comes up in court, his stalkerazzi just try to humiliate people.

The Alternative Neocon Universe is fascinating, after all it was "Reagan's Policies" that caused the improved Economy during the Clinton Administration (which means approximately a twelve year lag in indicators).
I actually enjoy Alternative Histories, when presented as actual fiction (e.g. writer Harry Turtledove, the Star Trek "Mirror" universe). I think that reading that particular style of Science Fiction can also be useful in trying to understand the Neocon Revisionism.

I've been admiring Hazel & Fiver every time you post.

It's been one of my favorite books since it was first published.

Ah, Chris Wallace, always there with the tough line of questioning for Republican polls. You're a real newsman, just like your daddy, Chris. And tomorrow you can be a fireman or an astronaut.

      Ultimate cretin and narcissist:

      1. Headed VP selection committee for candidate Bush - comes up with self as best candidate.

      2. Establishes and runs separate star chamberesque policy org with Rumsfeld and DIA, bypassing Nat'l Security Advisor, State, CIA, and Congress.

      3. Personally pushes for preemptive war with Iraq after having been on record of that as folly when Bush I' Sec Def.

      4. Outs CIA agent

      5. Shadow head of immoral (if not illegal) Administration tactics including rendition and torture.

It is time for this old, scared, and delusional man to fade into obscurity.

p.s., like to know why he wasn't at Kennedy funeral.

There is an article on the board currently where Andrew Breitbart says Democrats are hypocrits for decrying the trashing of the late Senator Kennedy, and they will do the same when Cheney dies. I thought that was funny. For my part, I will probably be more forgiving once he is gone, but let me say now, I think the man is evil, a Prince of Darkness, and the source of inspiration for so many of the wrongs committed by the previous administration. I understand that the man was deeply scared and scarred by the events of 9/11 but he used this fear to rape and pillage our Constitution and to remake the Executive Branch under the Unified Executive Theory" But most importantly, he forgot the words of Benjamin Franklin: "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety."

Interviewing a right-wing nut on a heavily conservative show is like talking with a baby. All you have to do is nod your head and never point out that they may be wrong. Why do they even go through the effort to make it look like a real interview happened? All it is is 95% GOP talking points and 5% bashing liberals.

Wallace asks Cheney: "Do you think the Democrats are soft on national security?"

Hm -- I seem to recall that, after Dumbya was (s)elected for the presidency in '00 and '04, Al Gore and John Kerry were both told to "shut up -- Bush is the president."

Why can't Shooter take the same advice? For someone who spent most of his [Vice] Presidency in an undisclosed location, we see much more of him now than we EVER did then . . .
