He's delusional, if Obama administration wanted to go after Rumsfeld et al, they could.
No sector of civilization should go without checks or punishments for misdeeds. That would be authoritarian government Buckeroo.

Don't investigate the CIA, that would be bad for America. I guess Brian never heard of the Nazi War Crimes trials. Well, as dumb as that man sounds, he probably hasn't, he isn't old enough to remember it, and he doesn't seem either educated or informed, so he may not have heard of the crimes. The problem with using illegal tactics to fight illegal organizations is that you become just as dirty and loose all moral authority yourself. That is a lesson of history he probably overlooked. The laws protect us as well as the criminal. Being a nation of laws makes us civilized. But that might not matter to him.

If going after CIA agents who committed immoral and illegal actions is going to affect adversely the morale and effectiveness of some agents, then so be it. It is the right moral and legal response to what has transpire underneath Bush and Cheney. Saying we should not go after and prosecute people for wrong doing for it is bad for morale is insane.
Law enforcement agents should have no problems when one of their own is brought to justice for breaking the law. In fact, they should be happy because those people who broke the law brought a bad name unto their professions. So all those CIA agents who have a problem with Holder’s investigation should do the honorable action and resign. We have no room for them in our national security forces.

Wasn't Steve Doucey {who co-hosts Fox and Fiends with Kilmeade} a former weatherman?

The Fox Comedy Channel: they sure can pick "experts."

That's not true, Kill-me. The Obama Administration would never out one of its covert agents . . .

How do you think the morale at the CIA is today? You think anyone will take a job with the CIA in the future? Did it bother you that ACLU lawyers were showing the terrorists at GITMO pictures of our CIA agents for prosecutions?

Does it bother you that these illegal activities tainted cases against some and drove others to insanity, and a few were even beaten to death. Yes, it is standard operating procedure to show the victims of a crime pictures of suspected perpetraitors. It bothers me greatly that my country, a civilized nation of resorted to the torture techniques of countries that we prosecuted for war crimes and considered barbaric for having committed the crimes in the first place.

Provide proof that there is a morale problem at the CIA today.

You think anyone will take a job with the CIA in the future
Provide proof that there is hiring problem at the CIA

Did it bother you that ACLU lawyers were showing the terrorists at GITMO pictures of our CIA agents for prosecutions?
Provide proof. And, did it bother you that herr dubyah and Cheney outed a CIA agent for political purposes?

Teabaggers, don't kid yourself, you could careless about the CIA. If you really cared about the CIA, you would have had a hissy fit when your fellow reich-wing teabaggers outed Valerie Plame.

While with a new administration not outing agents I think it is better.
You think anyone will take a job with the CIA in the future.
Yes for people who want to follow the laws of the land will join up. People who want to serve and protect this great country will sign up.
Did it bother you that ACLU lawyers were showing the terrorists at GITMO pictures of our CIA agents for prosecutions?
What are you talking about the ACLU does not prosecute. This is the job of government attorneys.

Sorry to tell you but the CIA is like Harvard or any other prestigious institution. They will NEVER lack of people willing to become a part of the organization.

Oh, by the way the CIA receives 10,000 applications a month. Not a year - a month.

If they broke the law, I don't WANT these folks in the CIA.

"Just following orders" was shown to be an invalid defense at Nuremberg.

You are listening to talking points issued by people who are scared to death that they are going to go to jail for the orders they gave.

The reputation of the United States will just worsen if there isn't a thorough investigation. By saying that all this in the past or staying the course, as Kilmeade and Cheney suggest, will hurt the credibility of the Obama administration worldwide. Bill O'Reilly wants to keep the lid on these things. That is of course not just morally indefensible, but also too late. This ugly cat is out of the bag, even though the full extent of it's ugliness probably remains to be seen.
