Malzberg asked McCaughey about her Wall Street Journal piece on Ezekiel Emanuel, who Malzberg called a "mad scientist," "nuts," "evil," and "lunatic, horror movie kind of stuff."

Previously:

At it again: McCaughey distorts Ezekiel Emanuel's writings to smear him as "Rationer-in-Chief"

Another McCaughey backtrack: How many more before media discredit her?

Why do the media -- most recently CNN -- enable McCaughey's falsehoods?

Mr. Malzberg, you said "it's what I call 'death panels'".

So, just because you say it, it makes it so?

So, if I were to call you an 'idiot', would that make it so?

What is really scary about the right wing crackpots using the term "death panel", is this was started by Palin. So now we have these right wing crackpots marching to the tune, set by Palin.

        Pretty scary huh ?????

Calling Malzberg an idiot wouldn't make it so--he was one to begin with.

"When did we put a price on living in this country?"

Insurance companies do it each and every day when they deny care to customers who have the nerve to get sick.

Yeah, but that's for profit, so it's OK to these guys. It justifies anything for them.

It's strange, but the same people who rave about the free market being the answer to everything get all upset when the free market works against them, like when advertisers pull their ads from Beck.

"It's too expensive to keep them alive!" Words stolen directly from the mouths of insurance company executives, Mr. Malzberg, who are already killing 18,000 Americans a year. We'd actually like to bring costs down and -save- more of those who have been discarded by for profit insurers.

In answer to your question, yes we are listening. That's why we do things like post audio of you talking to one of the biggest health coverage reform liars, Betsy McCaughey. That's why some of us actually track down and read Ezekiel Emanuel's writings, only to find that they have been taken out of context and skewed to support the lies of the liar who is castigating him.

We are also talking, to our representatives, in order to inform them that health reform without a public option is a good way not to be invited back to Congress in 2010. Your lies are noted. The lies of your guest are noted. You are making yourself a fool on a national level.

Steve, I'm listening, and you are the one who is lying, along with Ms. McCaughey. I don't want to kill you or anyone else. Sorry to tell you this, but currently, insurance companies put all sorts of costs on saving someone's life. I actually tracked down the case of Barbara Ward, who was talked about on Fox. She was denied access to a drug by the state of Oregon, but they were willing to pay for her euthanasia drugs. The drug cost $4000 a month and only prolonged life for an average of two months in terminal cancer patients, it did not meet the 5% survival rate required to be a valid therapy. Insurance companies have these charts and use them all the time. Dr. Emanuel has written extensively against euthanasia, but he is a bio-ethisist, it is his job to discuss end of life issues from both sides. The problem with you Steve is that you swallowed so much of Fox's Talking Points and paranoia, you've come to believe it and are trapped in your own fears and lies. Who does that make the nut-job?
