Riiiiight... and, you know... save 1000's of jobs in the auto industry. But who cares about THOSE beer-smoking, cigarrette-eating, crack-drinking swine?

Geez, Davis stopped short of mentioning pitbulls, gold teeth and fat gold chains. As if everyone who traded in their Clunkers all of a sudden started dressing and acting like the character Nino Brown from the movie New Jack City.

Can his racism be more transparent? What a jerk

All that extra money would just make Oxycontin that much more affordable.

And that is today's edition of "most clueless conservative", brought to you by Mark Davis. The competition is always stiff so this is quite an achievement for Mr Davis. Everyone give him a round of applause

Wait - how did it free up money (for apparently poor people)? Wasn't it last week's talking point that all these clunkers were owned by people who could never afford to pay for the cars that the banks were giving them loans for? Like banks are just handing out loans now, because they're in such great shape financially? I'm confused.

This is really sad. the government is just giving cars away. I turned in my clunker and didn't have to pay a thing. Luckily this program came along cause this 1,000 dollars I saved up from working "pay check to paycheck" can now be used for booze and drugs. (people's only outlet after having to listen to davis speak)....(or maybe a power drill to the head)...Anyways, so mark what did those auto workers who got their jobs back do with the cash that they wouldn't have without the program?...or how about those auto dealers who got the cars off their lots? Drugs...?....Booze?

I know you're being sarcastic. But seriously, there was a time not long ago that I was strapped for cash. I remember many nights, prior to the cash for clunkers program, wandering through the dark house, stumbling over furniture searching the ashtrays and beer cans for smokable butts, after wadding up my last pack. And I remember thinking "If only I could go buy a car". Well, 2 weeks ago, that scenario occurred again. But this time, I just drove down to the dealership, traded my '78 Duster for a new Chevy Avalanche, and on the way home, picked up a carton of Camels for the whole family.

Cash for Clunkers and a new car payment has made us financially secure and brought our whole family together. And the crack is better than ever! I look forward to moving up to powder cocaine after the health reform bill passes! Thank you, President Obama.

Wait, is this meant to be a slam on blue-collar workers? I thought it was supposed to be us liberals who were all elite-like and hating on the working people. I wish the Obama czars would remember to cc me on the memos!!
