my god, what is with these wingnuts on socialism? we are already socialist to a pretty great degree.
      social security
      medicare
      fire/police
      farm subsidies
      corporate tax breaks
these are all products of socialism. but, thats what you get when you live in a society. maybe a hundred years ago when you could go for miles and not see another person could you make the arguement for individualism. but when you have a country with 400 million people, well, then you have to be concerned with the welfare of the collective whole. and here's a question for you wingnuts. if we setup a health system that makes it mandatory for people to buy insurance from private companies, how is that not corporate socialism? and if people are not made to have insureance and get sick, go to the hospital and cannot pay so the taxpayers foots the bill how is that not socialism?
so before you on the right wet your pants about us becoming socialist, maybe you should look up exactly what it means instead of running around with your hair on fire.

I could go to the gutter on this, however I'll not go there where the wild Reps are! The best I can do is say that these folks must be suffering from BLINDERITIS, the inability to see anything other than whats directly put in front of them by their handlers!

And I love the Lonesome Rhodes reference. It's been years since I've seen, "A Face in the Crowd", but this is exactly what Glenn Beck does. And, as always seems to be the case (truth being stranger than fiction), there is no sign that any of his brain-dead followers have even begun picking up on the fact that he's either: a) crazy, or b) having a remarkably low opinion of the intelligence of his audience. (In fairness to Glenn, if it is B he certainly seems correct.)

They're everywhere! Them socialists! We got to stop them! Unite people! Unite! LOL! Except someone will take it to far and end up in jail and Becky will continue to get paid for telling lies without really telling the truth. Again I ask who really listen to this man??? Apparently some people do. Now thats scary!
