You would think Obama was the first person ever to tell kids to stay in school.

No kidding! These *people* are just spinning themselves into a psychosis. Next, when Obama gives a speech at a factory, they'll tell people not to go to work, or, better yet, to BURN IT TO THE GROUND (in defiance of the czars and fascists and communists that are currently controlling all of us).

Now to be fair, something pretty awful did happen a few years ago when the President visited grade schoolers and read to them...

        This is the "HOAAC" mentality.

        Hate Obama At All Costs.

That's why they make stuff up, jump all over Obama for a speech where he says to stay in school, etc.

Their dreamboat Bush and his boss Cheney failed at everything.
That's why even when that ship's captain was rescued from Somali thugs, did the right-wingers dump on Obama's policy that didn't fail?
Heck no. They even blamed Obama for the captain getting taken in the first place.
When Obama's policies succeed, it shows how the dreamboat Bush was corrupt and incompetent.

You know that EDUCATION stuff will indoctrinate our children and allow them to think about abstract concepts on their own. This will only lead to anarchy and chaos and the eventual euthanizing of us all at age 45. Because as we all know, those underpaid teachers are all liberal and in the evil unions (with exception to the moral ones at private schools) and want to take our children from us. At least, that's what the people on the radio and Fox tell me.

The best thing to help schools would be to stop Texas fundamentalist from choosing all the text books for all the schools in the USA. They insist and make sure certain propaganda is put in text books

Exactly right, blk-in-alabam. A lot of that Texas textbook madness started in the early 1960s with a fundy couple, Mel and Norma Gabler, who wanted to strip textbooks of information about evolution, among other things.

              http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mel_and_Norma_Gabler

I remember watching them being interviewed by William F Buckley years ago. You could tell the educated conservative Buckley was rather horrified by them. Both Gablers have passed on, but their know-nothing kind have more and more come to symbolize the GOP and the conservative movement generally.

I just heard Laura Ingram talking about the same idea. She had a little different slant in her comparison to evil doers, but the same theme. It is amazing how the great pundits think alike. NOT!

Wow imagine if President really said something "evil" like Dont Do Drugs and respect your parents!

The wingnut response would be: "How dare he tell our children not to do drugs and respect their parents! My Little Johnny can smoke all the meth he wants to and curse me out! This is AMERICA!!!!"

Or maybe the one that smells of roasted human flesh with a little oregano?
Model airplane glue and pez. The ever popular hydrogen sulfide, coconut and civitcat mix?

      This makes sense to me...

The GOP talking heads cant afford to have an educated populace, not if they want to keep their rating up.

So oppose anything that makes school look cool or good.....especially if the person involved happens to be one a memeber of one of those undesirable minorities who are begging for a handout all the time by simply thinking they might actually be as good as the Consevative master race

These hateful Republicans are out of their cotton-picking minds. What they are doing is inciting people or a person to act on their hate. It is clear they want someone, anyone to assassinate this president. This explains why they are not willing to wait for the next election. They want Obama out NOW. Have you ever heard of anyone treating a president as though he can't do anything right, even though he won the election by a wide margin? These Republicans talking heads are irresponsible and dangerous.
God forbid, if something were to happen to Obama, all of these imbeciles will act like they don't know why anyone would want to hurt Obama.
