Glennifer, you already said that this morning (though in a slightly more profane manner)... And if the pigs are flying, why are they pedaling bicycles, and how will that power wind turbines? It would've made more sense to say something about the big bad wolf going around to huff and puff and blow our fossil fuel dependence down... it still sounds ridiculous, but you could've at least fit in an evil fictional character with your big-bad-socialist-government-telling-us-what-to-do schtick to make more sense.

Oh jeez, you know Beck almost managed to bring up something I would've been interested in.
By that I mean, there was clips there of Obama and Biden talking about coal plants yes? And I was wondering, so what would be the alternative, (my little knowledge of wind power tells me windfarms are too expensive to replace them fully, right?)

And then when he showed the clip of Van Jones, (hmm never heard of him since I found out Obama was a racist), talking about clean coal being fictitious, so I wanted to know, what is clean coal? Or is it anything? Is it actually conceivable?, or is it a ridicolous idea?

BUT, then Glenn started flailing his arms and acted like himself so I lost all interest. Although I'm fairly positive he wandered off into nonsense.
        Kinda a shame

And what did the comment about a Communist creating jobs have to do with anything?

It's really not about rebuttal, who has the better ideas... just about repeating the same scary things with dramatic delivery.

At least he recycles his talking points and lame lines like this.

When you watch this goofball you start to wonder why advertisers didn't start pulling their ads on their own long ago.

BTW... it's up to 57 advertisers now.

ugh! Gutfeld is one of the most disgustingly hateful human beings I've ever come across . . . well, except for Savage.

These are the type of people who have turned me completely away from Republicans . . . they are not conservatives, they are just RUDE and HATEFUL.

In this country the all mighty dollar speaks volumes. If the president said that there was money to be made in the public option, it would've dassed a long time ago. These adveertisers know that Beck's audience is going to always be there. The more sponges watching the higher their revenue.

Mr. Beck, you have misread the memo. Progressive flying pigs on bicycles will -not- fly out of Van Jones' butt to replace coal power. Mr. Limbaugh, a colleague of yours, has already volunteered to bend over and grab his ankles, and we are using his willingness to adopt this posture as a source of the aforementioned flying pigs. Besides, from a purely genetic point of view, Mr. Limbaugh is a much 'friendlier' host than Van Jones. However, I applaud your interest in renewable energy, and encourage you to continue your studies. Feel free to call with any questions.

I'm really beginning to enjoy watching Glenn Beck's hysteria. I'm gonna hate to see it end when they haul poor Glenn off in a straight jacket.

God, I hope heart attacks don't run in Glenn's family. He gets so worked up...

He speaks now on the behalf of stockholders in coal and oil refineries. Damn, any republican who is brooding about an issue can get Glenn Beck to be his Ass.

The problem is we've been ignoring this for most of the past 35 years or so. President Carter proposed clean energy standards that would probably have had us off coal and oil by now but Reagan killed it. It was all just a big joke to the right. That's what I love about Republicans. The foresight.

Another clown show, and I mean in the commentary made. Before I get to the meat of the matter, how many comments do you have to make before you are given the go-ahead to just have your posts show up instead of being quarantined? I have been a member for months and have made many comments and mmfa still does it. Worse yet, some of my comments end up in the ether. No swears. No red flags. No name calling worse than what I routinely see here. But still, shut out of the game. I guess I'll just start peppering some "Right on dude" and "Bush lied" posts and I'll surely get the green light then. Until then, the "time delay" factor. Makes me want to keep it short this time since it probably won't see the light of day.
Here goes anyway. I am guessing not one of you realize that over 2.5 billion people use biomass for cooking. Over 1.5 billion people have no electricity at all. So while you type away in your central air and cushy chair and preach the same old tired AGW party lines, billions suffer.
Dirty or not, people use coal because it's affordable, accessible, and really the only way to get the energy they need to get out of the hell their grandparents went through just to survive. My own mother had to carry her water a half mile (on her head like you see in the magazines) from the local well to provide water to her family. Maybe that's why she's only 5 feet tall.
I am all for alternative energy. I have been an environmentalist for over half of my life. But I don't want to perpetuate absolute poverty from my relatively comfortable position by dictating to the world how to use the resources they use to better their lives. The AGW crowd claims compassion but really they hate humanity. It is a scourge to them. A plague.
Wake up. CO2 is not the boogeyman you think it is. There are plenty of real environmental threats out there you are ignoring while you gulp the Kool Aid. I just hope that there will still be time left after this house of cards you live in collapses under its own weight to address them.
