It made Rush bounce like a bottle in the ocean or a hoping Bug.
If Obama said "Boo" Rush would investigate.
If Obama said "kill all the illegal immigrants" Rush would Celebrate.
Speak truth to power.
Mr. News
And folks, there is a perfect demonstration of the simplemindedness of a typical teabagging hick where the entire world is only viewed as black or white.
* I think every good Christian ought to kick Falwell right in the ass.
o Said in July 1981 in response to Moral Majority founder Jerry Falwell's opposition to the nomination of Sandra Day O'Connor to the Supreme Court, of which Falwell had said, "Every good Christian should be concerned." as quoted in Ed Magnuson, "The Brethren's First Sister," Time Magazine, (20 July, 1981)
* Mark my word, if and when these preachers get control of the [Republican] party, and they're sure trying to do so, it's going to be a terrible damn problem. Frankly, these people frighten me. Politics and governing demand compromise. But these Christians believe they are acting in the name of God, so they can't and won't compromise. I know, I've tried to deal with them.
o Said in November 1994, as quoted in John Dean, Conservatives Without Conscience (2006)
* When you say "radical right" today, I think of these moneymaking ventures by fellows like Pat Robertson and others who are trying to take the Republican Party away from the Republican Party, and make a religious organization out of it. If that ever happens, kiss politics goodbye.
* Having spent 37 years of my life in the military as a reservist, and never having met a gay in all of that time, and never having even talked about it in all those years, I just thought, why the hell shouldn't they serve? They're American citizens. As long as they're not doing things that are harmful to anyone else... So I came out for it.
* America, the only nation ever founded in the name of liberty, never had a more ardent champion of liberty than Barry Goldwater. Simply put, Barry Goldwater was in love with freedom.
o John McCain (Goldwater's 1986 senate successor from Arizona) [1] [2]
* I always came away...with the impression that he was a great patriot and a truly fine human being.
o Bill Clinton [3]
However, true neo-conservatives are usually quite neutral or non-believers with regard to religion. The religious leaders are simply seen as middlemen used by the elites among the movement to control all of us unwashed masses.
The followers of Fox/Rush, et al, are not even neo-conservatives, they are simply junkies . . . groupies. No real political ideology except to parrot whatever they've heard.
Neo-conservatism is very, very class conscious. You have the elites [Kristol, et buds], then you have the middlemen [titans of industry and religious leaders] then you have US, the great unwashed. Religion is seen by the neo-conservatives as a tool of control. Most of the leaders are not religious at all.
It's a fascinating and rather frightening ideology to research.
And yet, you'd be hard pressed to find a self-described conservative who cheered Bush on for eight years to know that little fact.
Snoop, I think it was just gin -- period.
Nah, don't believe it.
She graduated from the same "college" as Glenn Beck.

When you help the lower class it stimulates the economy! Think abou it Starky! Their is more poor and middle class in this backwards country. If they get pay increases and tax cuts then they can spend more and help out businesses! The rich already have the things they want. The reason they spend money is because they have it and do not know what to do with but blow it! You do have some rich that do donate and help out the less fortunate, but that is very small in percentage!
So you defending the rich has not arguement in this discussion.
whatever you think of the man shoulnd't matter. not when it comes to telling kids to stay in school and work hard
I thought conservatives such as yourself LOVED tax cuts? This is a tax cut for the vast majority of our country.
Useless programs, which ones do you speak of? Like, the stimulus that is already showing some success? Or maybe cash for clunkers, which was a resounding success. Or maybe the increase in budget Obama asked for for the US miltiary? Those useless programs?
For someone who claims to be of a higher intellect, you don't show it very well. As in, you repeat inane talking points over and over again, and appear to have no rational or independent thought.
As for the rest of the content of my comment, I have no clue as it was totally erased when the little "Please express yourself without profanity" box popped up. It was a dang good piece and a shame to have been lost over one little word.
Sigh ..............
