This really surprises me. Why don't they vote for the conservative candidate. I mean, after all, don't the conservatives and the religious right have a special place in their hearts for Israel and the Jews?

You'd think Jews would be all excited about finally either becoming Christians or being incinerated after the Rapture®.

Or, maybe, just maybe, Jewish people find greater resonance with the Democratic Party, which has a more notable track record of trying to help others. You know, that whole t'zedakah (charity) thing that we Jewish people make such an integral part of our value system.

No, I think the Jewish community should stay right where they are in the liberal camp. You are free as a Liberal to live as you choose, however conservatively that you may wish, but you are also free to think as widely and as liberally as you like, too. I am actually quite old-fashioned and traditional in my lifestyle, but I am very liberal in my tolerance and outlook, so is my Jewish husband. The several posters who made reference to the Religious Right not really being a friend to the Jews is absolutely correct. Years ago, I went through a Fundamentalist Christian phase (Mea Culpa, Mea Culpa, Mea Maxima Culpa!) and I was taught that Catholics were bound for Hell, and so were most Jews except for the 1440,000 who would recognize the Messiah at the Rapture and become "Super Billy Grahams" who would make converts during the Tribulation, and after seven years, the Saved would take over and rule Earth for a Thousand years. I'm sorry, I still haven't gotten the bad taste out of my mouth from all of that. If Ol'Norm had heard what I have heard, he'd be running to the nearest Liberals to jump into their arms.

Although is not fair to say the left are enemies of the Jews the religious right belief in biblical prophecy pertaining to them and the role that they play with Jews at the end of time. Can be used to drive a wedge between Jews and liberals, you can bet this is just the beginning. this might not be the time to pick a fight with Israel of housing settlements

Or, about those Jews that Crazy Annie said needed to be "perfected"?

I hate to point out that ALL jews dont even think Israel is a good idea. Many Jews are anti Israel while many are Pro.

Maybe thats what is missing from FOX's reporting and understanding of this issue. Just because you claim to be Pro Israel doesnt mean ALL Jews will like you.......

(plus maybe the Jews are smart enough to realize that most Conservatives only support Israel because its "The Christian thing to do")
