If you take out the words "of thousands," Kilmeade might just be right for once.

You know I would like to know how many people showed up at that West Virginia rally. Haven't heard a word about it. Must have not been much to it. And wow tens of thousands are going to show up in Washington on 9/12 and whats the population of the U.S. Doesn't sound like it's going to be very big either.

I'll be at the Lone Sailor at the Navy Memorial tomorrow at 11:30. I will walk to the West Lawn of the Capitol around noon. I will be wearing a navy blue U.S.S. Constitution T-shirt and my pony tail is nearly to my waist. Anyone who wants to crash this teaparty is welcome to meet me there. I have a new digital camera and I am ready to take pictures.

Chances are pretty good you'll be walking alone.

The invitation is there. This is an open forum, with members in many places. The Lone Sailor is about half way from the Teabag Express rallying point (which is also 11:30) to the West Lawn and near a Metro station. And I won't be alone, my husband will be with me. Anyone who wants to go can come with me.

I'll see if I can find you. I might be along later on in the day. Got some riding to do in the morning.

I thought about wearing my "I still hate George Bush" t-shirt, but alas, thought that might not be a good idea with the tea baggers around.

I'll probably be wearing a black t-shirt that says, "Chicks dig my ride" with a tricycle printed on the front.

My husband is considering an Obama T-shirt. (I'm not so sure.) We also have signs from our town hall that say Thank you and Health Care Reform now on them. And I have a button from SEIU about Health care. I have a tan hat with a wide brim and my camera is pink. I plan to hang around the back and the edges. I want to see how well behaved the crowd is. At least there won't be guns, the Capitol police will not allow it.

Protesting out of control government spending and calling it a 9/12 protest? Why evoke the memory of 9/11 at all? What does 9/11 have to do with this at all? Or are these teabaggers once again simply protesting the election of an African American President and calling it something else?

I don't get this whole idea . . . on 9/12, most people were terrified, sad and exhausted from sitting in front of the television watching the aftermath of the attacks. To invoke the day after 9/11 to represent a "fighting spirit" is bogus.

Me, personally, I was still in shock and sadness over the death of my brother just 10 days before . . . the last thing I would have wanted to do was to "protest" something that I really didn't know anything about.

I find these protests to be disrespectful to the memory of those who died on 9/11.

Let me get this straight. It's an anti-government protest using the 9/11 tragedy as a backdrop.

          How disgusting are these people?

If they can get this done, I commend them for managing to rile up tens of thousand of people enough to get them in one place.

However, doing this the day after 9/11? Probably difficult to get people to go from patriotic one day to vitriolic the next.

Glad to see these teabaggers do not have jobs and get so spend their time traveling around the country to smear and lie about the President.

Not just Fox Noise uses 9/11 for gain!

Bush/Cheney regime used it over and over and over to help destroy this nation. But I might start crying if I get into details.

That Glenn Beck can create some worthless protest group and call it 9/12 is proof enough of Beck not giving a damn about that day.

If he truly cared, if he really felt sorrow, if he actually wanted the memory of this day to be remembered properly... he would have never named his stupid little protest group 9/12.

Since 9/11 was about terrorism... 9/12 is about.... taxes! WTF

Glenn Beck is nothing but a publicity whore!

Teerrorists killed thousands of innocents on 9/11 in order to attack and protest our government. Tomorrow, some people will honor their memory by attacking and protesting our government.

      HUH!?!

Let's just say Kilmeade is right. Tens of thousands of people turn out. So what? What Kilmeade is not pointing out is that, in just one weekend of protests leading up to the Iraq war, more people turned out, worldwide, than have been at all the Tea Parties and 9/12 parties and town halls since President Obama took office. They didn't get listened to, and they actually had a legitimate point.

The Tea Partiers, for those who were just regular working-class people, turned out to protest a 4% hike in taxes their bosses were going to be paying. Now, that's patriotic! "Hey, I have a right to protest my boss's tax hike!" Sure do. The 9/12 folks didn't mind Bush/Cheney hijacking the country and spying on Americans, but now that we may all finally get health care, the gummint must be stopped! Please.

I heard someone from a local tea party protest organizer here in Northern VA say on the radio this morning that they're expecting 400,000 or maybe even 500,000 people tomorrow.

        Yeah, right...

Well, magnolialover, the weather has been neither too cold nor too hot, so perhaps they will break 50,000. I doubt it, and that's my upper limit guess, just in case there is a pool going. That won't stop FOX 'News' & co. from claiming more, of course, complete with closeup shots of small tightly clumped groups of people.

      Fellow Matterers,

Mr. Kilmeade may be right. A thimble-full of humanity will be gathering. Great expectations Kilmeade, it seems you can not aim too high. Just think of all the gasoline, that will be saved, with such a disappointing turn-out. Less ink, wood, and paper for the posters, and a far smaller concentration of verbal flatulence will also contribute to the reduction global warming.

It is good to know Kilmeade cares-NOT!

      It be it,
      Ronin Kannushi.

I might go with camera in hand. Take some pics the fools carrying the Obama is a nazi sign. Cannot talk sense into any of these people, so I won't even try that. I will be the guy holding up a lone finger letting Fox know they are number one. :)

DC cops are good at counting crowds. So ar the times I have checked their crowds have been minimal at most of their stops.
