      MSNBC has no shame. How can they justify paying this guy and giving him their airtime? This is someone who is biggoted, racist, Nazi-sympathizer and completely stuck in the 1950's white America beliefs. Gross.

        Gops all operate on the same basic bogus premise - that the sclm is liberal so they get to just make stuff up.

        David Brooks has a regular column in the NYT and Clueless Krauthammer has one in the WAPO. Just who are the liberal columnists for the NYPost and the WashTimes?

        Scarborough is on MSNBC. Who's the liberal host on clusterfox?

        That's what I thought.

        Are you saying all white american have the same beliefs. It sounds like you are a racist or are you just refering to the "typical white person". I think you need to re-evaluate your value system. America is trying to move into a direction of tolerance and your standing in the way.

      Fellow Matterers,

      Pat Buchanan said the Republican Party is a party of opposition, and the Democratic Party is a party of opposition. That is the object of debate, is it not? I can imagine Mr. Buchanan at a tennis match, sitting in the stands between the players, and never turning his head? Meaningless...

      The insurance and pharmaceutical companies own politicians. That is the fundamental reason for all of the delay, in the health care debate. If the left wing is in charge, why hasn't a bill been passed? Mr. Buchanan is saying there are no potential leaders, in the current Republican line-up. He is right. The puppet strings would get tangled if right-wingers thought for themselves, and the constituency.

        Well, actually, in a true, formal debate, the debater should be able to coherently debate the pros and cons of both sides equally. Screaming and negating all aspects of your opponent's position without understanding that position is not debate.

      If the Dems controlled the media there wouldn't be all these right wing nut jobs on cable TV spouting how they and their Republican bretheren are victims of the "Dem controlled media"

      Hannity
      Beck
      Dobbs
      Buchannon
      ...

      If the Dems controlled the media these folks and many others like them, wouldn't be millionaires telling everyone how they are victims of the left.

        Actually, given the fact that, along with the factually-challenged, lunatic-fringe likes of SC Joe Wilson, such gop slugs are the best argument for supporting Obama the Dems could ask for, perhaps the loons have a point.

      And coming from a man who managed to aid in flipping the Washington Post and patronizing their coverage what would you expect. Pat became interested in media after the expose they did on "Watergate". Look at the relationship the Washington Post has with the Republican Party. "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em" or patronize them right? The Washington Post has since exposed issues in government of fraud or anything else. It went from being a watchdog to a junkyard guard dog.

      Dems do not control media. A general consensus of diversity and equality based on facts and investigation controls media which is reflective of a Democratic ideology. Liberals are a part of ABC, Conservatives are most in control of unpopular networks, and Democratic arguments are given a fair ear on MSNBC.

      Explain how this was so widely covered by the mainstream media.

      Or how this slipped under the radar screen of the 'right-winged' msm?

      And why does this story get anything but wall to wall coverage; it's pretty serious corruption of the political process?
