Lol! Today was the first day I ever listened to Rush on the radio, and, I have to say- he's got a whoooole lot of nuthin'! Noon: Obama hates the Constitution, Obama telling people to do service is bad. 2 p.m.: Obama hates the Constitution, Obama telling people to do service is bad, we all forgot about 9/11 (interestingly, I heard this from my next door Baptist neighbors in 2002, right before that judge who wanted the ten commandments kept on the court house came up for a speech), etc.

          I know, mr.
It's the same boring thread over and over again. I figure he's so repetitive because his audience consists of dim bulbs and droolers incapable of understanding anything the first time out.

And yet, according to this drug-addicted gasbag, there wasn't a thing wrong with using 9/11 as a pretext for a preemptive war . . .

Wait a minute. I thought he was not paying enough attention to 9/11?

How is he using it to further his political advantage? I mean, no republican who was President would have ever have done that? No former Mayor of NY would ever do such a thing would he?

If there's any politician who used 9/11 to promote their own radical political agenda more than George Bush, I'd appreciate the info.

Well, there was 'ol Rudy 9/11 Giuliani himself.

He tried to use 9/11 to finagle an {unlawful} third term as NYC mayor.

9/11 was the day of the scheduled mayoral primary, and was automatically delayed two weeks . . . but then, Giuliani sought to have his term, due to end January 1, extended to April 1, and threatened to run for another term as an independent if his wish wasn't granted, but the NY State Legislature shot him down, and the mayoral election and inauguration proceeded on schedule.

Ah gee, the President goes and asks people who are no where near a memorial site to remember anyway by donating time to their community to help improve it and that has been twisted into something evil and manipulative. And what Rush, do you think would be a better way to remember? Would standing around for a moment of silence when you might not have known anyone who died and then just going about your regular business is a fitting memorial. Personally, I would rather be remembered in some act of giving to others than a static moment of silence, but that is just me.

Well, obviously, Rush thinks it's far more fitting to remember all those killed by terrorists on 9/11 by marching on Washington to complain about gov't spending and taxes.

Yes, and raise angry, clenched fists! You know I have been a Liberal for all of my life, and seen a lot of things, but I never heard of Saul Alinsky until the Right fringe started invoking him at every turn. But when I read his stuff, it is all about giving power to the have-nots, and caring for your country. I guess the idea of sharing power is too much for multi-millionaire white guys without an education like Rush and Glenn. They realize they would loose too much, because really, they both lack talent and skills to actually have to work for a living.

Face it dude, a black man is President. Get over it.

Rush is one of the many that must have been in trance the last 8 years and have now awakened.

9/11 was co-opted by the Bush regime and used to change this country in many unpleasant ways.

      community service=community organization
      community service=ACORN
community service=destruction of the American system at the hands of radical leftists
Whew, Mr. Limbaugh. That's a lot of work for community service to do. No wonder the President is calling for help.

The lowest point in Obama's presidency? Aside from the first eight months, Mr. Limbaugh, using 9-11 to advance a political agenda was the entirety of President Bush's tenure.

"We lost more people eight years ago on this day than at any single one day period--an act of war--in our history."

      9-11 = 2993
12-7-41 = 2350 (Hey, even Rush gets it right once in a while)

"Ask now what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country." -JFK

Let's thank Rush for opening our eyes to JFK's call for radical leftist aggitation to destroy America.

When I think of community service I think it's about community service. What is wrong with that. Why isn't doing community service a way to honor the dead? Why is it considered something sinister? I just don't get it. Anyway isn't it voluntary?

Why does Limbaugh get away with saying this stuff? Okay, he disagrees with the President but it's the way he says it that is so misleading. He gives his opinions as if they were the truth.

Ol Fathead doesn't believe a word of his own demagoguery. It is Friday, he has to fill up airtime, and he has nothing else to say. But, in order to play to his audience, and pi$$ the rest of humanity off, he says really stupid things.

He really should go back to filling his pie hole with food, instead of this drool. Really Rush, that could be your contribution to President Obama's call to community service.

So, it was okay to use it to push Bush's destruction of the Constitution agenda?

Or it was okay for Rudy to use it as his own personal attaboy badge?

Yes, but they were Republicans -- and they're white.

The idea of the scary black man with the funny name and no birth certificate having as much power doesn't sit well with Limpballs . . .

Here we are eight years after a bunch of cave dwelling religious fanatics figured out a way to harm the most powerful country in the world.
I have proudly lived in this country since 1992. On Sep 11, 2001, I did not feel that proud. I felt outraged that a group (any group) could do it to us.
On this day every year since then, I still feel the same amount of outrage and shame that we have not brought the perpetrators to justice.
Every year that goes by with Bin Laden continuing to live on dialysis, I will feel the same outrage and shame.
