      Wilson "did a public service"?

How? By showing what horse's asses Republicans are?

        Yup.

By a 68% to 21% margin, Americans oppose rather than support South Carolina Rep. Joe Wilson’s “You lie!” outburst during President Obama’s address to Congress last Wednesday.

I don't codone Joe Wilson's behaviour, but was a rebuke, by the house, necessary? He apologized to President Obama and he graciously accepted (according to reports). When asked to apologize to the house, he refused, as well he should. Queen Pelosi used her power as house speaker to push the rebuke only because she was b*tt-hurt 'cuz HRM didn't get a personal apology from one of her subjects.

What he did was against the rules of congress. Look it up. And yes, the rebuke was necessary, especially since he's using his outburst to get his nutjob base to send him money.

I am aware it is against the rules. Why was the rebuke necessary, should have been the way I phrased it.

The only nutjobs are the Dems. Yes, it is against the rules of Congress. But...the Dems boo'd Bush in an address to Congress. So, it's ok for them to do it I guess, right? I think not. Get over it and move on. Joe Wilson represents the majority of Americans, like it or not. He has raised more money than his Dem opponent since this happened.

Here we go, the dems did it too. Waaahmbulance! But a majority? Did you get your facts from the same "university" that claimed 1.7 million people were at the 60 to 70 thousand teabagger convention?

Then I wonder how Joe Wilson has raised $2 million dollars as opposed to the Dem running against him who only raised $1.5 million. Seems like your poll is a little skewed. More people support it that you know. The liberal media only reports what they want you to know.

You bet he did a public service. He tells the truth and speaks out when somebody is blatantly lying. The Dems are the horse's asses, like usual.

anybody that sides with Van Jones is a joke. Anything a Black Panther has to say is worthless in my mind. Republicans/conservatives are trying to keep this country from going down the toilet. We like it they way it was designed to be by our forefathers. Not this socialist, big government, handout heavy crap we have now.

Mr. Dobbs, it's quite clear that you have no concept of reality. As it has been posted elsewhere, I will simply refer to the section by title and number:

Section # 246, on page 143, is titled "No Federal Payment For Undocumented Aliens"

Now, have the specifics of enforcement been worked out? No, but this is still only proposed legislation. You are way way ahead of the process.

If you'll notice, the bill also fails to specify 'No Unicorn Landing Zones' around our nation's international airports. Why are you not concerned about this? It also fails to specify exactly how blood pressure will be measured under the proposed bill. Why do you not cry out against this? The answer? Because neither of these things are about illegal aliens, which is your primary hobby horse, and one you have ridden nigh unto death. We get it. Illegal aliens are living in America, and you do not wish to pay for their health care. Guess what? Better minds than yours (by far) have already been looking out for you, but you have not the wit to grasp this.
