From the History Department of Becky's University of I Don't Remember.

Little known fact---while Hitler was the leader of the Nazis he never actually joined. Through a clerical error, when Hitler tried to join the Nazis, he instead joined the Nancy Party.

Rule # 3,564 in the right wing crackpot lunatic handbook.

"I never said that" = "I haven't said that within the last 1/3 second, unless I have started a new sentence in the last 1/3 second, in which case I still have never said it"

Ammended: Or it means that I have never said THOSE EXACT WORDS. Calling someone 'Hitler' isn't the same as calling them 'a Nazi.' Hitler was not just a nazi after all - he was a specific nazi!

Maybe he didn't, he just compared him to Hitler...it doesn't matter really that Hitler was the head of the NAZI part. Gas by any other name still smells just as foul. Nancy Pelosi DIDN'T call him or the protesters NAZIS, she said that using NAZI imagery wasn't going to get them anywhere in a discussion. There is a huge difference between Mrs. Pelosi and Mr. Limbaugh. But, you know, Hitler did talk about the big lie. He said if you told it loud enough and long enough, people would eventually believe it. Maybe he was just revealing himself in his choice of imagery.

Hitler (actually I think it was Goebbels, but Hitler definitely put the theory into practice) was a proponent of the "Big Lie," and Kristol, Wolfowitz and other neocons are devotees of Leo Strauss, who promoted the "Noble Lie," with which those fit to rule manipulate the masses. I suppose Rushy, Becky, and the Fuxy Friends think their lies are noble. Personally, I'll stand with the Founders, and hope for an informed populace.

That's what is so amazing, ep. These clown trying and attach all this Nazi crap to Obama when they're practically reading from the Nazi handbook on propaganda.

Look at them and the big lie about Saturday's tea party attendance. Even though they have no evidence to back their claims and have ignored anyone (DC Fire/Metro) able to provide an estimate, they're sticking with the 2 million figure.

You're right. I was likening the 9/12 hatefest to a KKK rally, but it actually is more like the good Germans at Nuremburg.

I keep hearing that lie about Pelosi saying protesters are Nazis. Hannity repeats that one every other night. She said the opposite. Sean and others flipped it on its head. She was criticizing those who used Nazi imagery, and somehow that means she was calling protesters Nazis. And Sean also doesn't know the difference between mobs and mobsters (aka Mafia).

Actually, he never said Obama was a nazi. He MAY have said, "Obama is a Nazi." You see... it all depends on what the definition of 'is' is.

Seriously, can we learn what terms mean before we use them! It is not possible to be a Marxist and a Fascist. If the right needs proof of this I suggest: Ernst Nolte, Der Faschismus. Furthermore, Nazis were Fascists. Granted you don't have to be a Nazi to be a Fascist, but you did have to be a Fascist to be a Nazi. So, by Rush logic again, we are calling each other the same thing? Or maybe Rush is suggesting that Obama is the Italian type of Fascist and not the German type. There would be some irony in his comment if this is what he actually meant, though I doubt he could discern between the two sets of ideologies.

A final point here, Socialism is for a landed State, meaning that there can be individual wealth; in true Marxism there cannot be a landed state. The right must work harder to define its terms so people can understand what they mean, instead of chucking off complex concepts ad hoc at the under-read masses.

Is Rush trying to qualify for a grant from a Jewish Holocaust memorial fund? Mention Hitler a million times, get a million dollars!

Rush is a twisted old fruit with a dried up soul and a rotten core. Back into the earth with him, where he can do some good fertilizing a pot plant.

As usual, he's either lying outright or playing semantic games. Let's go with the latter and say he never called Obama a Nazi. He just strongly compared Obama, his health plan, and other elements of the administration to Hitler and the Nazis. That's not the same thing as calling Obama a Nazi.

It is, however, typical disingenuous Limbaugh rhetoric.
