And how were the tapes wrong? Did they substitute actors for the crooked acorn reps, or perhaps they secretly had ventriloquists doing the talking. maybe you should try trusting your own eyes and ears.
She couldn't have been more successful in defending her organization. Whatcha wanta bet that no one on the right takes notice of her comments?
Back during the whole voter "fraud" gesticulations the right wingers were making during the campaigns, ACORN came out and said, yes, they turned in the fraudulent cards, but first, flagged them, fired the people responsible for them, and turned said people into the local law enforcement officers for possible prosecution.
But, most right wingers, OK, all right wingers ignored that entire bit of what happened, and we STILL have some folks on here, who come on here and claim that ACORN is some part of a nefarious plot to de-fraud voters, and that they were caught "red handed".
Of course, totally ignoring what actually happened.
Prompting calls from the right wing to dismantle ACORN completely.
I seem to recall the same claims being made by the Bush gang concerning Abu Ghraib although in that case there were very few demands(from Hannity,Malkin,Limbaugh etc..)that anything other than a few low level dismissals ever take place. You know.Over the rapes.Um,torture.Oh-and murders.
Funny thing that.
