MSNBC is showing their liberal bias. They are actually having a person from ACORN on to speak for herself. That's not the way it should work. It should work like on FOX news, where you show tapes that end up being wrong because you never checked them. You are supposed to subject ACORN to endless ridicule without trying to get the whole story.

Actually she was invited to appear on Fox but would not appear. I guess she only wanted to be heard by a limited number of people. And she prefers softball questions. In prior appearances on Fox she was treated with respect. I guess when you have an indefensible position you head for safer ground. Wasn't it Nancy Pelosi who said their behavior was inexcusable?

And how were the tapes wrong? Did they substitute actors for the crooked acorn reps, or perhaps they secretly had ventriloquists doing the talking. maybe you should try trusting your own eyes and ears.

Mistakes were made by low-level employees, we're looking to stop those same mistakes from happening again, no money would have ever been given out to these fakers with the videotapes.

She couldn't have been more successful in defending her organization. Whatcha wanta bet that no one on the right takes notice of her comments?

And why would they start now?

Back during the whole voter "fraud" gesticulations the right wingers were making during the campaigns, ACORN came out and said, yes, they turned in the fraudulent cards, but first, flagged them, fired the people responsible for them, and turned said people into the local law enforcement officers for possible prosecution.

But, most right wingers, OK, all right wingers ignored that entire bit of what happened, and we STILL have some folks on here, who come on here and claim that ACORN is some part of a nefarious plot to de-fraud voters, and that they were caught "red handed".

Of course, totally ignoring what actually happened.

"Mistakes were made by low-level employees"
Prompting calls from the right wing to dismantle ACORN completely.

I seem to recall the same claims being made by the Bush gang concerning Abu Ghraib although in that case there were very few demands(from Hannity,Malkin,Limbaugh etc..)that anything other than a few low level dismissals ever take place. You know.Over the rapes.Um,torture.Oh-and murders.

        Funny thing that.

I think it's great that the Obama administration and it's allies like Acorn have a place to paint their side of the story MSNBC and CNN. I watch the videos (all of them) and it did not seem like the first time those workers had dealt with that type of situation. Bertha Lewis is a spin doctor. First she said that these guys did them a favor by finding the bad apple then she said it was against the law to tape someone with out consent and they were going after those two. She also said the tapes were doctored but when asked where she couldn't say Which is it? Favor or fraud. Are liberals really that dumb. I long for the good old days when news was just news and we didn't have the liberal channel and conservative channel. When was the last time CNBC or CNN broke a story that was bad for OBama? By the way did he ever show his birth certificate? I had to show mine for the DMV. Not the fake one on his website but real.
