What an endorsment for MM! They don't even bother to listen to Beck themselves... they get their references from MM!

Joe nails Beck to the wall.

Beck was a miserable failure on TV until Roger Ailes gave him an hour on Fox News.

I'm waiting for the day when all of these cable programs are on the air, filling their whole time with just talking about other cable programs that compete with them! Oy.

Isn't that what Keith Olbermann does EVERYDAY?

Yes. Olbermann does this during part of his broadcast hour. As do most of the pundits out there.

Which is why jj noted "their whole time". Soon there will be a program that does nothing but butcher other programs 100% of their broadcast.

And no, "Countdown" isn't that program.

I'll ask you what I ask fairliberal . . . do the folks at Fox pay you for your loyalty and for your defense of them? If not, what you do on this site is a bit creepy.

Why exactly is it that you feel the need to defend Fox with insults toward another host on another opinion network? I guarantee you that Fox and MSNBC really don't care much about you one way or the other.

A clue: it's a television network, not your family member or best friend. Get a real life.

I just knew FauxLiberal was gonna show up with a barb about KO. So predictable.

That's why I said "cable" shows.....duh! And I meant cable shows, period. I don't care about their leanings. This media phenomona is ridiculous.

Olberman is too busy watching Beck and wishing he had a bigger viewing audience than a Billy Mays infomercial that runs at 3am.

It won't be long...they're all going out of business...
Pretty soon the giraffe neck madow will be back whining on her 5 watt radio station.

It's all over but the crying. CBS Entertainment is next on the BK block

I made a similar point below before I saw your comment. Why should anyone listen to what MSNBC says about FOX or vice versa? It's not legitimate media criticism. It's just two competitors taking swipes at each other.

Are they beating Beck's radio program in NYC? That'd be an interesting number to see.

But it looks like Beck wanted to pick a fight with Morning Joe and decided to pick on the quietest voice on the show. Now THAT is the way that a real coward fights!

I'm all for real media criticism but FOX critiquing MSNBC or MSNBC critiquing FOX is kind of stupid and pointless. They're competitors. Why should we listen to what one says about the other?

The conservatives are now going after each other. I just love it.

I suspect Scarborough will have Beck for lunch, if this escalates further. At least Scarborough, and even Brzezinski, each have a brain!

Scarborough gets more media coverage on other networks. He even makes appearances on Bill Mahr's show.

Imagine Beck appearing on Mahr's show. They'd have to carry Becky out on a stretcher after Bill got through with him.

Anyone selling tickets to that fight yet? Is it on?

"Imagine Beck appearing on Mahr's show."

Glenn would actually shed REAL tears by the time that was over. As I recall, he had a difficult time with the panel on The View. Bill Maher would reduce him to a quivering lump of sobbing Jell-O. They'd have to decorate him with pears and carry him out in a casserole dish.

Thanks for the correction. At my age, everything looks the same on the screen. I should use my reading glasses more often.

I hope Bill doesn't get mad at me for this. I wouldn't survive his verbal assault. ;-)

I still don't get how Glenn Beck can go to work every day in New York City, of all places, and has not yet gotten his ass kicked.

Is New York just a town full of sissies?

      It's really pretty pathetic.
