President Obama was "spot" on when he said this, and it was funny watching John King's face as the "truth" was spoken.

So true... Obama isn't socialist, he isn't even liberal. He is centrist. Bill Maher said this months ago. With a democratic congress and president, we cant get out of our own way to pass something as simple as healthcare reform. I cant imagine what economic reform would be like - government regulation over private wall street, god forbid... People need to stop acting like obama is some kind of radical, beck is the radical.

Unfortunately that point was way too long to fit on a bumper sticker, protest sign, or twitter message, so the villagers with pitchforks will never understand it.

I spent a semester at a Jr. college in Tyler, Tx. Many of my peers were from very small towns all over Texas. I was from Houston and grew up being told that a well articulated, elegant message was the best way to express yourself. I was greeted with a lot of suspicion when I first got there.. to the point where I was called out to fight quite a bit. Of course, after a few weeks of living with them, we all became friends - they realized I loved Taco Bell and cheap beer just as much as they did, and I realized that they were just ignorant hicks that didn't know any better. :^)

Ah, but most of those folks you attended school with were from the Piney Woods of East Texas and from other very racist areas of East Texas. That's a WHOLE different part of Texas. They are very "Ol' South" in their beliefs.

Maybe my monitor has a color problem, but am I the only one who saw that John King's face turned red under his makeup?

If it didn't, it should have. Cable "news" should be ashamed of what they're doing to this country.

All these reports lately are networks commenting on other networks. Obama steps aside and lets media eat its own. Cool McCool. Right on.
