      Brian Kilmeade doesn't like talking about race because he knows if he does, he will put his stupid foot into it again. Remember his species remark a month or so back. The man is lucky that breathing is an autonomic response because he would fail if he had to think about it. As to President Carter speaking up, good for him. I would not say that all of Obama's opponents are opposed to him because of race, but for some, it is there, even if it is something they themselves have yet to admit. If they HATE Obama and they can't tell you why, they just know something about him is wrong, then I think they have a problem with race, even if they refuse to admit it.

      Hmmm. Carter gets blamed for bringing up race... These people are truly retards! Now I may be wrong, but who quoted this on the same news station way before President Carter's comment????

      Answer: Beck claims Obama is a "racist." Discussing Obama's response to the arrest of Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates, Beck asserts that Obama has "a deep-seated hatred for white people or the white culture." After being reminded that Obama has numerous white staffers, Beck contradicted himself, stating, "I'm not saying that he doesn't like white people. I'm saying he has a problem," before going on to state, "this guy is, I believe, a racist." [Fox News' Fox & Friends, 7/28/09]

      OK you three dimbulbs, Steve, Brian, and Gretchen, Obama went on five talk shows yesterday to talk about health care reform. He didn't talk about race. President Obama was not knocked "off message". Obviously, you weren't either - for you and Fox News Corporation it is still about race.
