Limbaugh refers to UN speech as a "bloodless coup" in which Obama is "surrendering" the U.S. to "the global powers"

          OK, I've never been one to nit-pick on people's typo's, etc... But, dude, you REALLY needed a COMMA in there! I read "President Limbaugh" and almost choked!

          Read this:

          If an assassination attempt is ever made on the President Limbaugh and the rest of the wingnut radio brigade...

          Now, I'm almost OK with whole mass-assassination thing, but I have a serious problem with "President Limbaugh!"

          Speaking on the same topic today Limbaugh also referred to Obama as a "menace". I cringed... What should be done to someone who is declared a menace? Limbaugh WANTS someone to kill Barack Obama, IMO.

            I really don't know how else these comments can be taken. Talking about "surrender", how the Republic is in danger and needs to be prayed for and how Obama is a "menace" doesn't present many options for dealing with these horribly dire circumstances. If Obama was assassinated tomorrow, I don't know how Limbaugh and Beck could go from these "end of America"-themed comments to "this shouldn't have happened..." with any sense of consistency. If things are really that severe, and Congress isn't going to proceed with impeachment, then what other solution leaps to mind?

        And the guy who shot uf the Unutarian church in tennessee had books written by both Bill O'reilly and Michael Weiner in his house. The hatred has completely permeated the right-wing wackos in our society.

      That woman is pretty good evidence that Limbaugh listeners lack critical thinking skills. She uses buzzwords and buys into generalities as if that sort of thing makes for legitimate intellectual discourse.

      Because there's no Hannity thread yet:

      Hannity, on his radio show yesterday:

      "Obama has quadrupled the debt. Already."

      Caller: "Well, I don't know how you got that figure.."

      Hannity: "It's True! The Debt under Obama is now $1.5 trillion, that's three, four times what it was under Bush.."

      (Pretty amazing, when you consider that Bush signed the bailout package in the fall of 2008, which by itself would have created a bigger deficit than the one Hannity claims he left Obama.)

      Hannity today: "It's ISRAEL that is dealing with six thousand rockets being shot into it's schools and hospitals every day..."

      Wow, I had no idea Israel was under such a relentless attack! But then again, I had no idea that Obama had quadrupled the budget, either. I need to listen to more Hannity, I guess.

        6000 rockets a day? Wow. Does Hannity realize that even if that were possible, the land mass that is Isreal would be a pile of loose rubble by now. It would just sink into the sea. Don't you love how he emphasizes how they're being shot into schools and hospitals. Guess what? The other side gets the same treatment too. Both sides are killing each other's civilians. At least groups like Hamas aren't trying to excuse their actions. Isreal has come out and said "the enemy is using human shield by hiding in the cities". That's so wrong. Their enemies are citizens of the cities. The go to the outskirts, make their rocket attacks and then GO HOME. They don't have military bases to bomb. They are a very low budget military force. Isreal has alot more fire power and uses it on the citizenry while saying "we had to do it, they gave us no choice".

        I thought the right wingers have always maintained there is some unwritten prohibition against trashing your country on foreign soil. Why does Sarah Palin want the terrorists to win?

      First off, let me tell a little something about myself, since I am new. I am a fair-minded Libertarian, who has liking for some of President Obama's poilicies (public transit and Pell Grant expansion among them). I do not regularly listen to Rush (or the Anti-Christ, Savage). I do have to say that the first quote of what Rush said was real stupid. Normally, I may say that he was joking, and that the joke sounded tasteless. It doesn't sound like a joke to me, this time.

      However, i do not like the U.N. and would love to have their building eminent domained and serve as a large homeless shelter. The only good thing I ever saw come from them was the UNICEF program.

      The U.N. is as Anti-American as Hitler was. As for the Holocaust museum killer, he does not represent even a fraction of talk radio listeners, and I hope he's having a nice time roasting in hell.
