Is it just me or does Glennn appear to be increasingly hostile these days? Sounds like a bitter man...which doesn't wear well on a lot of viewers.

And do you think Beck's fans can actually FOLLOW what he's saying? He obviously has no respect for the intelligence of his viewers as evidenced by his extensive use of visual aids...as one might use in front of a group of children.

"And do you think Beck's fans can actually FOLLOW what he's saying?"

Of course not, that's why he doesn't really say anything. He just recites his innuendos in a sing-songy sarcastic tone so that his viewers will know that it's "something really really bad", without having to expend all that intellectual energy that they'll need for watching the WWE Smackdown.

Imagine, an advisory board member planning a party.... The horror. The horror.

At some point the attention and or the so called high ratings, went to his head. He wanted to be bolder and more outrageous than his fellow TV and radio hosts. As a result he went so far out "there" he doesn't know how to get back. I think he is desperate and scared.

Of course his fans can't follow what he's saying. How could anyone? It is a mish mash of scary sounding words to them and they assume Beck has to know what he is talking about. After all he gets paid millions to say this crap on his TV and radio show.

ACORN was the company that shut down power plants in California and defrauded the state for billions of dollars, right?

And Enron was the not-for-profit organization where people said outrageous stuff to a pretend pimp, correctly?

No wonder there's so much outrage over ACORN.

Hey Glen - come to California sometime... I dare you. I have enough evidence on you to put you away in a state mental institution for life - you are clearly a danger to yourself or others... and by law, it is my responsibility to make sure you get the help you need.

I already have the letter written and WILL send it to authorities.

Please, come visit San Francisco sometime. I dare you.

Why does Glenn have to visit S.F. for you to divulge incriminating evidence against him that will 'put him away'? Lay it on us. What authority does someone who posts on this site have that will accomplish what you say? Come on, lay it on us. Make Woodward and Bernstien proud.

ACORN has done some good things to help people down on the lower rungs on the social ladder who don't have political clout and who usually get screwed. But it's a huge operation and some ACORN workers have not acted properly. If laws have been broken then the people who broke the law should be prosecuted.

But it is difficult for many of us on the left to see this obsessive right wing outrage as nothing more than typical right wing partisan exaggeration and distortion...dishonesty, if you will. First of all, ACORN is not the huge story the right wingers would like everyone to believe. It is simply a vehicle by which partisan right wingers attempt to dishonestly portray Brarack Obama as the ring leader of an allegedly subversive group trying to turn America into a Marxist state. It's laughable...at least to rational people it is, but not to the salivating, hyperventilating, partisan right wing crowd who will say anything and believe anything to take down the nation's first African American President who, by the way, is doing a damn good job juggling the problems that were left by the moronic George W. Bush and the evil manipulator Dick Cheney.

Also, why is the partisan right wing crowd so worked up about ACORN while we have not heard a peep from them when there have been far more serious abuses by right wing groups. Take for example Blackwater and its founder, the hyper-religious, Evangelical Christian crusader, Erik Prince. His father was a major donor to right wing religious advocacy groups such as Family Research Council (Gary Bauer) and Focus On The Family (James Dobson) and the Prince family have been major right wing Republican donors.

Prince's security firm, Blackwater, was awarded lucrative contracts to provide security for U.S. interests in Iraq and Afghanistan and has been involved in nothing but major controversy. Blackwater employees have killed innocent civilians and conducted themselves as Christian crusaders hell bent on stomping out Islam...which is not their job. Prince has been accused of illegally smuggling weapons into Iraq which have ended up in the hands of terrorists. Prince has also been accused of the murder of individuals cooperating with federal authorities investigating Prince and Blackwater. How many Glenn Beck fans and FOX News devotees have anything more than just a passing familiarity with Blackwater? How many of them would even recognize Erik Prince's name.

Blackwater is just one example. I could name more instances where FOX and other partisan right wing propagandists have completely ignored the serious criminal actions by right wing groups that are far worse than anything ACORN has done. It's typical right wing hypocricy and dishonesty.

If ACORN is guilty of any illegal activity then it should be prosecuted. But to be be fair, ACORN is not under the control of Barack Obama and it is not a subversive organization dedicated to overthrowing the American way of life...unless, of course, you consider the subjugation of poor people tha American way of life.

But keep listening to Glenn Beck and getting yourself worked up while corporate America keeps taking money out of your pockets with the help of the Republican Party. You people are such fools...

That's a nice story but you conveniently left out the fact that the democrats control all three branches of government and can do pretty much anything they want. If investigations into Blackwater are warranted, why hasn't an elite panel of democrats pushed for an investigation? Could be we're gonna have 4 more years of Bush with Obama. He seems to have fit right in in Washington. Where's that 'hope and CHANGE' we were promised?

You obviously do not use common sense do you? Blackwater is a tangled organization headed by Erik Prince and the radical Republican Party and are still getting influenced by the Christian Right organizations. Instead though of doing research you will just argue my point I just made along with the other people on this site, because that is what you do. Argue points made and have no adequate replies. You see what is happening with the C.I.A. investigation and how YOUR party is reacting to the investigation by throwing wrenches into the problem. By the way BLACKWATER is a small part of the investigation, but they are apart of it. Along with the Bush White House. Once they do finish the investigation, it will go deepier than torture and alot of people will go to jail. While as a couple of non-thinking employees of ACORN will have just lost their job or go to jail. So you FAIL!

"Do we not have free speech in this Country (sic)?" bvd720

Of course we do. The question is, if you support free speech, then why are you telling people at this site not to exercise THEIRS? Does the concept of free speech apply only to political regressives, liars, and right wing morons? Do you really imagine that you and your media heroes are being denied free speech when someone else ANSWERS your smears and distortions. Is that REALLY how you think it works?

Now, go watch Glenn Dreck so that he can slowly drain your soul.

BTW, you might want to go read the 3 part story on the REAL Glen Beck on Salon.com. This is a man who called a former friend's wife on live radio shortly after she had had a miscarriage and made FUN of the fact that she had had a miscarriage ON LIVE RADIO. Why? Because his former friend was a competitor on a rival radio station.

        Great guy you follow.

But Beck does supply a whole lot more than bintx, bintx supplies nothing but empty accusations. So many libs say Obama has no link to acorn, Beck is proving them wrong.

Beck's smug delivery---with its obnoxious, like-that-of-an-11-year-old sarcasm, the cute little air quotes, the abruptly disturbing changes in tone from insincere earnestness to dripping contempt (for ACORN or whoever he chooses to pick on that day)---makes it really, really difficult to watch these clips in their entirety. Those who make it through to the end: your tolerance is admirable and greater than mine.
