Barnie Frank "had somebody running" a prostitution ring out of his house. You mean, somebody was running the prostitution ring FOR Barney Frank? Interesting choice of words by Doocy...but knowing what a professional journalist he is I doubt if he intentionally meant to cast aspersions on Barney Frank. <snicker>

Good point, but I don't think Doocy's that smart or cunning. He just stumbled onto that choice of words by accident. He'd try to get you to believe he did it on purpose, but his demonstrable stoopidity would undermine that claim.

Barney Frank had a relationship with a prostitute who was running a prostitution ring out of Frank's house. Frank claimed to not know about it. Close enough, in my book. It's public information.

I guess Fox knows they're running a political prostitution ring out of their own studios. It's called Fox & Friends, and it's cheaper and more tawdry than anything they can bring up about Barney Frank.

I remember the story, which occured around the same time as the Supreme Court made some very anti-gay decisions. If there was any truth to Barney's involvement, trust me, it would have been used against him and ended his career over twenty years ago. As it was, it has stopped him from every being the first Jewish Speaker of the House. To keep bringing it up is a cheap shot, and passive aggressive smear. I really hate to invoke feminine cleaning products, but really that man is a douche.

Yeah, when Kilmeade basically says "pics or it didn't happen" you know you're way out on a limb. But isn't this just the standard "I don't know for sure but didn't [x] used to [y] with [z]?" rhetoric so loved by FOX News folks.

It's funny watching an illiterate putz trying to take down someone with far superior intelligence and tact compared to his own. Doofus and his uninformed clowns are a pathetic.

I just realized that "Doocy" is a combination of "doofus" and "idiocy".

        Thanks for sparking that realization.

Do they get memos before they go on the air for the smear of the day. Captain Kangeroo had more relevance in his morning show day.

Yes, because the American people tolerate prostitution so well among public officials. I mean look at how well spitzer has done since his debacle and that was AFTER he got into office. Of course, someone being involved in prostitution before running for public office would be able to get elected without any sort of problem.

i know you all think barney is some god, but i see him as a media whore and someone who was total fool when it came to the economic meltdown and yes his lover was running a brothel out of his (barney's) home. just because he has a (D) by his name doesn't make him perfect.

No, we don't think he's a god. That's akin to the false talking point that we think Obama is our messiah. Neither is true.

But we think you are ignorant! I will admit that. Whatever flaws Rep Frank has, whatever errors he has made, he did not tolerate someone running a prostitution ring out of his Washington, DC home. We know that he had a friend who likely did do some illegal stuff from Rep Frank's home, but that's different than Frank "tolerating" a prostitution ring in his own home.

In another example of projection, it would be your side who likes to make your leaders into gods, like you did with Ronald Reagan, naming the DC airport for him in an unprecedented step. It would be your side who rejected legit criticism of the Bush Administration and of America in general as unpatriotic!!!!! We don't think America is perfect, we don't think Barney Frank is perfect, and we don't think that he or Obama is a god.

sorry, not a reagan fan and i think gw was the worst president in my lifetime if not ever. you do prove the point that if you say anything critical of a democrat then BAM they must be a bush loving neocon. and in a responce to your weird ref to reagan airport, you ever heard of JFK airport or space center to name a few.

Houston has George Bush International airport, named after the Reagan lackie, originator of Middle East temper tampering, Iran contra affair middleman, George Bush Sr, in 1997. He sure didn't deserve an Airport!

I don't care if you're a Reagan fan or not - it doesn't change what the Republicans did! What a doofus.

And I don't believe you when you say that you're not a righty.

And dum-dum, the space centers and the airport weren't named for Johnson or Kennedy when they were still alive. The Johnson Space Center in Houston was created because of the efforts of LBJ while he was still in the Senate in the late 50's, but wasn't named for him until after he died.

The DC airport, on the other hand, had nothing to do with Reagan other than that it was in DC, and the President resides in DC, and it hadn't already been named after someone else like most airports in the USA! Before he was dead, before he'd even left office, people were talking about what they could name after Reagan! It is fairly unique to have something named after an ALIVE President.

And, like I said, it was your side that rejected legit criticism as unpatriotic, but you are railing against MMFA pointing out undeniably false criticism. I didn't say that you did it - I said that your side did it. You are dense.
