Who is this "you" person Beck keeps giving orders to?

Why is this guy who makes millions and millions of dollars a year constantly telling others to go out and do something? Hey Glenn, who do you think has more leisure time and disposable income available to go out and "do something about it," you or your trailer-trash knuckle-dragging mouth-breathing audience?

He's going after her for a six degrees of separation to Bill Ayers. So weak. They couldn't take out Obama over any connection to Ayers but he thinks he'll bag Jarrett over it. So so weak.

Hell, the way Obama has handled every other criticism tossed at him by these wingnuts, he probably WILL dump Jarrett overboard. Will she land on Van Jones or the Public Option?

Glenn is people have to be held accountable for everything they have ever said, and everyone they have ever known, and they can't be forgiven for sins of the past, why should we listen to you? Afterall, you lied about your mother's death, turned your back on your friends, humiliated people you worked with, drank and drugged yourself from coast to coast, and abandoned the first family you started and barely knew through the drug haze. Then there is all that nasty talk about murdering Charlie Rangle and Michael Moore, and Nancy Pelosi and let's not forget the freak outs on your callers. Maybe the one we should be ushering out the door is that guy.

Beck is like a lot of Bible-thumping loons who believe that announcing that they've "found Jesus" not only cleanses them of every sin they've ever committed, but also gives them free reign to criticize and moralize about the alleged failings of others, without even the hint of irony.

Yeah, I've known a few of them, boy, do they really chap my fanny. I wonder if Jesus ever gets tired of them? Well, I guess the difference between me and Jesus is that Jesus really does love them and forgive them, and me, I struggle with the attempt. I know that God loves me, and is forgiving, which is good, because I need it. I prefer to let other people do the worrying over their own souls.

They're the kind of hypocrites that Jesus condemned. Matthew 6: 5-6:

When you pray, you shall not be has hypocrites are, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues an din the corners of the streets that they mabe be seen by others. I say to you, they have their reward.

When you pray, enter into your closet, and when you have shut the door, pray to your Father in secret, and your Father sahll see in secret and reward you openly.

Jesus would not approve of religious fanatics screaming His name as justification for their actions and attitudes. Of course, it's easier to rant and rave than actually FOLLOWING Jesus' teachings, so they would rather do that. Jesus was INclusive; they're only interested in being EXclusive.

Thank you for reminding me of that. Being Catholic, I tend to focus on my own sins and my own repentance that I forget that others are so sure of their salvation and superiority that they fail to realize they may have lost Jesus' voice. And it's good to know that Jesus doesn't like hypocrites either.

IMHO, Jesus would not recognize much of what people claim to be doing in His name, let alone support it.

Well, Catholics (being raised as one, but I got better) and Jews both push Guilt. Regardless of whether the cause of the guilt is legitimate or not.

I heard Valerie Jarett over the weekend on XM Radio, on Ron Bennington's Interview show. She was brilliant, and insightful.

So it's not surprising to me that Glenn "Diana Moon Glampers" Beck wants to shoot her down. Brilliance is not allowed in a world where the ploddingly stupid have Fox News shows.

I got the name wrong. The person in the interview had a name that I confused with Jarrett's. My apologies.

Of course she is the next target of the wingnuts.
      Why?
      HER SKIN COLOR!
It is her ethnicity that freaks out these idiots and they know it will play well to their moronic base to vilify a person like Valerie Jarrett.
The fools over at American Spectator have been trying for a year to claim she is "Iranian American" and that the Obama officials "sought to keep her ties to Iran from press views"

See for yourself in this drooling tome entitled:"Who is Valerie Jarrett?"

To the imbeciles on the wingnut fringe; if you are born to American Parents in a foreign country (Her parents were there to set up a hospital for children) then you are automatically a "foreigner" and most likely "a foreign spy bent on the destruction of the US"

Gawd you wingnuts are astonishingly dense!

The article you posted is amazing in its lack of, well, actual knowledge. It's all about speculation. The line from it that I like the best was this:

"Jarrett may be to Obama what James McDougal was to Bill and Hillary Clinton. McDougall, a central figure in the Clinton's Whitewater Scandal,"

See, thing is, there WAS not Whitewater Scandal for Clinton. Starr spent years and millions of dollars, and came back with, well, nothing.

They play up her "Iranian" background, making it sound as if she is from Iran, when, again, she was born to her American parents while they were IN Iran. And they breathlessly talk about her "ties to Chicago politics..." as if the entire place is corrupt, which, it isn't.

        Amazing the stupidity.

Which was ALL THE MORE reason to keep John McCain as far from the White House as possible. ;~)

Oh Wow, if Beck is going after her then she is toast. He has been pretty spot on with his targets and they have, for the most part, been removed or disabled as a public entity. It's amazing how much power he holds simply by telling the truth.

She seems pretty OK to me. And seems like she's pretty solid. I can see where Beck and his minions get their guilt by association on her though.

Let's see. First, she was actually born in Iran. To American parents.

Lived in London. Speaks Persian and French (DOUBLE THREAT THERE!!!).

The chairman of the Erickson Institute that her mother helped found was Thomas Ayers, father to Bill Ayers. She must be a radical!! Her mother knew Bill Ayers' father!

      Jarrett profile...

So tell me Glenn Beck fans, what has this woman done that is so bad that she must be "targetted"?

She speaks or spoke French and Farsi, that's bad enough, and her father is black and both of her parents are intellectuals with great educations. She's smarter than he is.
