What can I say? I seem to remember a skit on Saturday Night Live with Chevy and Richard Pryor called "Word Association." This is just about as funny.

Oh My God! What balls! Pick any sports analogy, Colbert really did it. With razor precision and perfect timing, he, with considerable help from the typist narrator, cut through all the cr@p and displyed the true face of conservative America. A blackface! (not a black face, you know, okay). Beck, Limbaugh, Savage, Dobbs, etc., take notice. From this moment forward, I will not be able to see your bloated jowly smug mug without a shiny coat of shoe polish...

I still have to believe that the average right-winger somehow still believes in their limited mind that Colbert is actually on their side!

Watching Colbert rip apart the lunacy of right-wing ideology makes staying up until 11pm worth every second!

Well, if they bought W, not to mention Bekkky and Limbaugh, they'll buy anything.

You can ridicule people right to their faces, and if that ridicule is satirical and facetious and subtle enough, and if the people you're ridiculing are not very swift in the first place, and if their minds are slanted toward listening only for opinions that agree with their own (which is a very common slant among that crowd), then sure, the dopes think you agree with them, they think you share their political opinions and other beliefs, they don't even see the put-on and the shuck, and they think they're looking into a mirror instead of at a caricature.

Of course it's the laughter or the giggling and even the smile, that gives the whole thing away, and informs the fool or idiot that they're just being made fun of, and that they were too stupid and dense to pick up on it right away.

Hah, this was superb. Nice job of exposing the hypocrisy of slinging around racially-charged statements while claiming that your target is a racist instead.

There was a study or a poll done which showed that a significant number of conservatives actually thought that Stephen Colbert was really a conservative and apparently failed to realize that he was making fun of them. That is sad, but not surprising. These people aren't too bright to begin with, and subtlety and humor which requires thinking aren't exactly their strong points, so it's not surprising at all that they would fail to understand that Colbert is making fun of them and their demi-gods right to their faces. Conservatism itself thrives on people not progressing and being in a constantly backwards state in terms of thinking and open-mindedness and many other things. Sad indeed.

      THANK YOU.

I will tell you what is sad is that there are so many people like you that have your heads in the sand while our country is being sold out. It has nothing to do with race at all. I am very conservative and noone that I know would ever begin to think that a total liberal pig like Colbert was on their side, but I know that calling us edeeeets makes you feel so much better about yourselves. Please stop being so nasty and resorting to name calling.... like most liberals and debate the facts. Then maybe we can debate the issues and not just hear all you liberals yelling racist! Glen Beck is doing more good for this country than any of you could ever imagine! God Bless Glen, but I know that God is probably a bad word in your opinion. Stop drinking the KOOL AIDE!

"It is a secret plot to steal white women." When I heard that, my palms when flat on my desk, my head hit the keyboard, and I
      c r i n g ed.

      What a piece of work!
