Limbaugh clarifies: "I did not call Obama a Nazi.
And Al Franken did not call you a "big, fat idiot."

Oh, wait, he did. And so did you.

For someone who doesn't believe in evolution, it's amazing how much his story keeps evolving; adapting so it can survive any hostile circumstance it finds itself in.

It's like someone telling you "I didn't call you mother a whore, I just said she acted like one".

Who could take offense at that?

Rush's argument is more like, "I didn't call your mother a whore, I just said she took money for sex."

FatHead compared Obama's health care package to Nazi programs, he compared Obama's health care logo to Nazi logos, and he compared Obama the person to Hitler the person. It's all VERY simple to understand, even for Limbaugh listeners. It's odd to hear him wimp out now and try and take back his very clearly made and easy to comprehend assertions.

But did he say these exact words: Barack Obama is a Nazi? This is typical of the right. 'I didn't use the exact words in the exact order you claim therefore you are lying.' It's completely stupid but they still trot it out everytime they can't back up what they say (which is pretty much every time.)

The problem with making stuff up all the time is that eventually it becomes impossible to keep track of what you made up yesterday. Fortunately for Rush, his listeners also find it impossible to keep track of what he made up yesterday, so he doesn't even have to try. That's the beauty of it.
