Limbaugh ignores millions to Libya under Bush, attacks Obama for aid

Bush requested millions in aid to Libya:

"Foreign assistance to Libya will initially be targeted to the Peace and Security objective in order to graduate Libya from a Restrictive country to a Developing country. Assistance in this objective will be complemented by a robust International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP) and other exchanges as well as the inclusion of Libyan citizens in regional initiatives that can build a democratic cadre to advance internal reforms."

      Rush Limbaugh was bragging about all the applaus he got on Leano.He played himself.This was a last ditch effort by Rush Limbaugh to prove his audience size to sponsors.He promised sponsors he has prime time drawing power.Leano ratings recieved no bump up.I think they fell.

      Interesting. I can remember when the Bush Administration was preening about their "success" in getting Libya to halt their nuclear program [which was already in the works to be halted anyway]. I'm pretty sure Rush was praising Bush for it, too.

      Good opportunity to score some points with the uninformed. Conveniently forgetting the Col Oliver North " thing " (currently with a well paid FOX gig ) and Reagan covertly arming the bin Laden followers with Stinger missiles in Afghanistan.

      Don't forget about giving Sadam chemical weapons. Someone on the right thought that it was a bright idea then.

      It was NEVER ok!!!! Not during Bush, Clinton, Bush, or Reagan to give AID to ANY country that supports what Libya supports!!! Why can’t any of you understand that this isn’t about Democrats or Republicans it is about your children, your grandchildren, their children and YOUR Great t Great Children!!!! You blogs don’t mean anything unless you do something to change their future!!! It has nothing to do with anything else!!!
