That pretty much describes the reichwing approach to everything. Make false accusations, act on them, and then wish it were true after being proved a liar. Good for you for admitting the truth!

I don't know why this is still getting headlines. It happened during Black History Month and it hasn't happened again. Why are you guys still complaining about it? I wish I had $1 for every time they say "well if this happened with Bush....". They're getting so predictable.

"Preposterous" is correct. This is a class-room for children and there is absolutely nothing wrong with singing a song of praise for ANY good man in powerful position, or woman for that matter. Obama is a positive role model.
White people have a problem with children singing Obama praised and it has nothing to with indoctrination (that's just silly). The song would not have gone any further than the class room if it weren’t for Fox News. (Fox News disperses this black President).
White folks have a problem with a black President and they have a problem with children looking up to him, why, because Obama does not fit white (not all) image and stereotypes of black people.
White fore-fathers have lied to their children about black people. They taught that black people were inferior, lazy, shiftless, incompetent, evil, criminals, can’t be trusted, dirty and less than human.
Obama, holding the highest office in the world, has contradicted all that is said about black people. Now the children of their forefathers are confused and angry at this black President (they should be angry at their parents).
Obama, not only beat out all white democrats (Liberals) but he beat out all Republicans (the whitest of the white, Conservatives). This is why they want Obama to fail. They want to be able to say Obama was not qualified and he was incompetent.
They want to keep the lie alive about black people.
The Republican Party will do EVERTHING conceivable to insure Obama fail. This is the reason why they complain and criticize everything Obama does.
This is the reason behind the ACORN scandal (they want to connect Obama to ACORN). This is also the reason behind the so-called indoctrination scandal (whites have a problem with their children listening to a black man).
Now they have an issue with mostly blacks ‘school children singing praise about a positive, influential back man in the “comfort” of a classroom.
This is stupid, like most of their criticism of Barack Obama, in fact, Obama had nothing to do with what went on in that classroom, but it doesn’t matter to hateful conservatives. They will grab on to anything and everything hoping something sticks to Obama. They intend on bringing down Obama.
Right now Republicans and Conservatives are using the media (for the most part) to help them scandalized Obama’s name and reputation. This is why America is getting all these ridiculously childish silly stories about indoctrination and singing children in classroom.

          to ez4you2say;

To blame it on anything other than race, would be to deny racism exist.
When you have people making a mountain out of a moll hill; you have to wonder, why. I don't have to wonder why. I know racism is behind the constant stupid and petty criticism of this President. I also know Obama could not get away with half of the stuff Bush got away with and the reason is obvious.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why such foolishness becomes News. You should ask what is behind the motivation to criticize each and everything Obama does. You won't do that because you want to believe race has nothing to do with it. You are a naive man who doesn't think for yourself. I don't care how many people try to convince me otherwise I know better and I can think for myself.
Republicans, who are mostly bigots, do absolutely nothing to denounce Glen Beck, [Klan]nity, and Rush Limbaugh. Republicans do not denounce Birthers and Tea Baggers protesters with outright racist speech and signs. You know why they don't denounce these idiots? They don’t denounce them because they condone it. This alone is proof positive most of the attacks on the President are racially motivated. Would you have a problem denouncing something you are not associated with?

The firestorm was artificially generated by right wing media.

This is also NOT the tune Jesus Loves Me. They are musically illiterate, too. There is one line that seems to be adapted from that song, but it is hardly the same tune.

And in NO place is there a line about "share the wealth" in any version I heard, unless I missed Fox's doctoring of the tape. If I am wrong, please show me the link, but I believe something that "incendiary" would be everywhere.

All I heard were some very non-controversial (for the mainstream anyway) ideas and even George Bush would at least pay lip service to equal pay and racial equality.

Good God! How are we ever going to teach history and current events to our young people. Aren't there pictures of our presidents, incuding our current one, in schools. How many years do we wait before we can include a President in our class discussions and in our history books? How about Carter, or Reagan? They are still controversial. Can we mention FDR? Probably not, wasn't he a Socialist?

Well, at least our kids will get a good science education....Wait a minute is the universe 14 billion years old, or 6000?

Has anyone seen the documentary "Jesus Camp"? It depicts children literally being indoctrinated by a religious right group. In one seen they have a cut-out of G W Bush and the children are literally asked to worship it. Where was the outrage then? How come no one is talking about this?
