      I don't know what "Obamacare" is but if it stops us all being slaves to insurance companies I'm all for it.

            Hey reparations sounds like a good idea to me. I want Joe Wilson and the Sons of the Confederacy to give me reparations for my great-great uncle, a member of the Irish Brigade, killed in the Battle of the Wilderness.

      A rich white guy in America talking about becoming a slave of some sort. I really hope people are beginning to listen to him only for entertainment and not for informational purposes. Although I fear someone is viewing Rush as a Rhodes scholar who has done thorough research on every topic and knows exactly what he's talking about.

        A couple of years ago, wasn't Rush mostly misinforming by twisting actual events or policy, and at least trying to appear sane?

        It's getting difficult to comment on these guys, as they plunge into hysterical hyperbole like this just to keep up with the right wing nut on the other am radio channel.

          I have the same impression. In the past Rush tried to maintain at least an illusion of respectability, but now he can't do it and stay above the rising tide of fetid insanity that passes for conservative political commentary.
