      Oh wait, I get it. It's because Jennings is gay, and presumably, the guy was gay too.

      I'm sure if we didn't have homophobic discrimination in the '80s (and still do), the situation would have been handled differently.

      I'm glad to see that there were some cooler heads on that panel who brought this up.
