Beck: They're "out to get" me, "destroy me," "Sarah Palin me," to "intimidate you"

This is quite possibly the craziest thing I think I've ever heard Beck say, and thats saying a lot.
Someone is always listening to him? "They are out to get me"? Paranoid much Glenn?
And you know, if you cant take it anymore Glenn, then quit. Maybe it will save some lives.
Strait jacket couldnt hurt either.
Yeah, that ties in better to reality.
So, it's the people who don't listen to Beck that make him wealthy? Wow. You guys are really running out of ways to defend this moron and his constant nonsense.
That's exactly what I was going to ask. Then I remembered how conservative humor* works; Make up some strange, incoherent scenario about somebody you don't like, then mercilessly satirize your bizarre fantasy by typing a stream of consciousness pile of words that have nothing to do with anything.
* May not contain actual humor
I posted what his encore was. Perhaps you remember that, but I wouldn't count on it. Remember? You got "aroused" by it, then projected your feelings upon those around you.
Thanks for the warning, pups. I'm making an appointment with my doctor right now. I just hope my insurance will cover it.
GW Bush and Dan Quayle, on the other hand, not only inhaled, I'm not sure they ever EXHALED . . .
Whereas, Beck's caused him to lose jobs, and marriages, and to go into rehad, and Limbaugh's caused him to lose his hearing, and get brought into court.
There are slight differences between the 2.
That, and Obama is not acting as if he's on drugs like Limbaugh and Beck are.
That's probably the most important distinction. Obama's about my age, and almost everybody my age tried recreational drugs in their teens and 20s.
The comparison between that and a lifetime addiction is ridiculous in itself, but ultimately irrelevant. As you point out, Beck and Limbaugh show signs of intoxication daily in their behavior and words, while nothing is indicating drug use on Obama's part.
I wonder how many prescriptions puppy has to be currently on to think this was a valid point.
B) Beck and Limbaugh are radio and tv personalities with absolutely NO power over anyone in the world, unless, of course, you allow them that power.
Well, puppy -- as much time as you spend here DEFENDING them, they must have SOME power -- over YOU, anyway . . .
Well, let's see . . .
One has degrees from Columbia and Harvard, is a former constitutional law professor and US Senator, and current US President.
One flunked every course he ever took in college {"even ballroom dancing," according to his mother}, likes to diddle prepubescent Dominican boys, and is an oxycontin addict.
The other is a dry-drunk who frequently misspells words on TV program, simulates boiling frogs and pouring gas on someone, calls the POTUS a "racist", and whines about how "they're out to get him."
Nope -- no difference there AT ALL . . .
Imagine it more accurately as you on the other side of the safety glass, in the nice soft room, with that fancy jacket keeping your arms restrained, and the rest of us wondering among ourselves "wtf is he/she going on about?"
b)chicken
c)I guess puppiepoopedalottopoop couldn't respond to that one.
You know, the schoolyard routine. Been there, done that.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Glenn... It's called ZYPREXA. Ask your doctor!
Of course people are out to get him. That is exactly what is going on here! That's the whole point, you think he is monitored like this so he can be vindicated?
It's an oldie but goodie, and certainly fits. Make it Brie-hoo-hoo.
I think the common thread here is what he claims happened "to" Sarah Palin. Like her, he's prophesizing that his own words will take him down, and "they" are complicit in the assault by not saving him from himself.
I hope psychology pre-grads are watching this intently.
Keep up the good work mmfa.
Old Woman: I saw him. Green and slimy.
Old Man: Leave the poor man alone.
Old Woman: I'm only trying to help. You've got to humor them.
Don't whine about people doing it to you.
Me personally? I'm here to have fun. I'd rather be poor and honest than wealthy and... well, Glenn Beck. Or a liar. But I repeat myself.
Why...I mean it, really...Why are you people so dense? That's not rhetorical, I really want to know. It seems the most basic logic eludes you. Are you just playing dumb to further your arguments? Are you playing devil's advocate? Did you get too much lead in your diet as a child? I can understand most psychological "twitches", but this blatant dishonesty even in the face of what you HAVE to recognize as intellectually capable opponents makes no sense to me at all. In other words, you're either dumb enough to think that nobody will see it, or you're dumb enough to actually believe what you're saying. I just want to know, for my own education, which.
Is Lindsay Graham from the "left"?
By your definition Jesus is a liberal. Nice!
The so-called "religious right" has twisted the teachings of Christ to fit their own warped agenda. They would turn Christ away if came to their doors.
That aside, I don't get the impression (and I'm not alone) that you didn't comprehend enough of what The_Cat stated to point anything out. I don't want to take the time to do this, but I think you're worth it...
You made the assertion that Glennn Bek was not insane, but merely stating his opinion for lots of money, whereas MMfA doesn't make that much money, implying, or at least posing the question, of whether the insane party might not just be those who offer their opinion for less than what Bek makes. The_Cat replied to your assertion, using sarcasm, that Bek's opinion is formed according to those from whom he receives his riches, riches that seem to exceed what are received by those who's opinion is formed by truth and facts. He then went on to state that given the false dichotomy of lies and riches vs. poverty and truth, he would take the latter. At which point you claim he equated lies with money, and then you went on to say that The_Cat held the opinion that everyone who is rich is a liar.
Does that pretty much sum it up? I hate to waste all this typing on a hopeless case, so if I lost you somewhere along the way, please tell me so that I can go back and better explain it. But if you've managed to make it this far... Thus my question above.
I really did just waste over 245 words. Plus these.
See where optimism gets you?
What an ingrate.
I don't see Obama as Robin Hood, that's just your general construct that you like to throw out. I didn't even mention Obama in my post. Again, speaking on my own personal experiences, and nothing else.
Drop the mm mmm mmm mm thing, it makes you like more ignorant than you really are.
And if I recall correctly, Reagan modified it read "A mind is a terrible thing to waste money on".
See what a little research could have done for you?
And, it was Dan Quayle in 1989 who modified that to, “What a waste it is to lose one's mind.”
Which fits puppy even better . . .
It's still a waste, no matter what the article in front of it is.
You post gibberish you pick up from Fox and call yourself a "conservative." Anyone who disagrees with you is a "liberal." You have NO idea what those political ideologies entail, nor do you understand that the distribution of political ideologies are not simply black and white.
BTW, you know MMFA simply posts videos of the actual words and images of the referenced individuals. It is THEIR words and THEIR actions which we critique.
It is not liberals who prefer to have no middle ground. It is not liberals who have an 'us and them' mentality. You need to look to the conservatives for that, puppienrainbows.
Are there dishonest poor people? Obviously yes there are. Are there honest wealhty people? Obviously yes there are. All human beings suffer from the same problem as far as I can see: human nature.
Did I say that I believe Glenn Beck is willing to sell his personal integrity for monetary gain? Why, yes I did. Because I believe it is a provable fact. He lies on his show every day. He gets paid to be on his show. Therefore, he gets paid to lie. Would he still have a show if he clung desparately to the truth, regardless of ratings? The world may never know.
What you've revealed about yourself, puppienrainbows, is that you need a remedial course in reading comprehension.
Uhhh, he never did that, Poppy. You really seem desperate here.
Just OOC, puppy -- how much money do you make coming onto this site to spew wingnut yapping points daily? Is Glenda paying you to defend him?
If not, mmfa may not be the only ones who's "krazy" . . .
Nobody even a Republican would pay for such inane comments.
How, exactly, does Beck make money from this?
You have to wonder about the logic.
A person who has never heard of Glenn Beck is browsing the internet.
He stumbles on an MMFA item showing that Beck is a paranoid imbecile who gets most of his facts wrong, projects his racism and anger onto other people, and cries like a little girl about his hallucinations on a pretty regular basis.
This person decides "I will watch Beck's tv show, patronize his sponsors, and answer telephone surveys asking me if I am a fan."
Wouldn't a person likely to take these actions already be a Beck fan?
Maybe if you added some mmm-mmmms, it might help??
Funny, I think that too, just for different reasons.
Isn't your lunch break over? I'm sure that your teachers are probably checking roll. Wouldn't want that truant officer calling your mommy and asking why you aren't at your desk.
You realize, of course, that you just admitted that Beck does radical smear jobs against people who don't fall into a very narrow POV, and that doing so for money is OK. Wow. Your integrity is underwhelming.
Proof positive that this is the guy the old (I think it's French) saw, "An American is one who knows the price of everything, and the value of nothing," was talking about.
"I made a bargain for my soul!" Why does the word, "Faust," keep coming to mind?
"You get out of line we'll destroy you"
It seems to me the right-wing believes Obama is out of line and you are trying to destroy him.
"...the thought of someone always constantly out to get ya, constantly, do you have any idea what it's like? ... somebody will take anything that I say take it and twist it out of context ..." [...] "That's crazy"
You said it Beck "That's crazy".
Beck isn't constantly out to get anybody, right?
Beck never takes something others say and twists it out of context, does he?
Note the sarcasm.
Prove it, any contorsion please. I'll take just one.
Do you have a SINGLE example of that happening? Just ONE? This site has a search function, and LOTS of Beck quotes, videos and audio. Dig up ONE SINGLE EXAMPLE of something Beck said that was then "twist[ed] and contort[ed]" by MMFA into being false or incorrect.
I'm waiting.
BTW, if you are truly a conservative, you shouldn't like either one of these phonies.
'Nuff said.
Remember when Beck called Obama "a white-hating racist"? MMFA twisted and contorted what Beck said to claim that Beck called Obama a white-hating racist.
I'm waiting for him to multiply the tuna fish and twinkies at the next Teabagger's Bll.
I don't know Glenn. Why don't you ask Van Jones or Valerie Jarrett?
You're right Glenn. We seek to delegitimize mouthpieces for the right-wing, tin-foil brigade.
If you made cogent, conservative arguments, we'd leave you alone but you lack the ability. By pouring forth the irrational, the paranoid, the conspiratorial, the delusional, it is you who gives us the ammunition. Don't hate us when we fire it back at you.
Wingnuts -- always thinking freedom of speech applies only to them.
Earth to Glenda Beck: if you want to continue to do things like call the POTUS a "racist who hates white people", toss frogs into boiling water, simulate pouring gasoline on someone, misspell the word OLIGARCHY, and claim the Chicago 2016 Olympics will lose money because the 2010 Vancouver Olympics will, feel free to do so . . . just don't get upset when others decide to respond.
Reality: Woah, Glenn, that's gonna cost you some sponsors.
Beck: Oh trying to silence me, hay? You can't win Darth, strike me down and I shall become more powerful than you...
Reality: Spare me the grandiose delusions of martyrdom, nobody's violating your rights.
Beck: There's nothing you can do to me that Castro hasn't already done.
Reality: Are you just gonna quote movie lines all day?
Beck: You can take my sponsors, you can take my lexis, but you can't take my freedom!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reality: O........K
Beck: You'll never get away with this, you can shoot me in the head but you can't take my soul!!
Reality: Well I've got good news for you, you're not nearly important enough to be assassinated.
Beck: First they came for the radio blowhards; I was not a blowhard, so I said nothing.......
Reality: I think I'll leave you alone for a while.
Instead of spending his time discovering and discussing the facts of the issues at hand, he spouted and drummed up fantasies and lies to distract and infuriate his listeners so that they would act rather than think, shout rather than debate. And if he's criticized for that, he wraps himself in a flag, raises his eyes to the spotlights, and cries "Foul!".
People who lie deserve to be called out for it. People who attempt to spread hate rather than critical thinking deserve to be abandoned.
You had such an opportunity to lead your people and you blew it by reveling in what they love to hear (scandal) rather than telling what they need to know.
Save your crocodile tears for your creditors and the unemployment office.
When he starts whining about people picking on him I can't help but think of an idiom that goes, "you reap what you sow" or something close to that. I don't think Glenn gets it.
You throw a stick of dynamite at us everyday.
And every day, we light it and throw it back.
Yes it official(If everybody already knows) he is a loon! As long as he talks he will have fans. Shame!
Is that supposed to stimulate some part of the conservative brain that makes endorphins come shooting out by the gallon?
BTW, Glennn Beck isn't paranoid, is he? Har, har, har...
