Somehow, I doubt the citizens of Chicago think GLENN BECK speaks for them.
If the TAXPAYERS of Chicago were polled, the majority agree with Beck. The city needs to deal with their current budget defecit, not line the pockets of the mob with an even greater defecit.
"Mafi--oops" is soooooo East Coast!
He should be throuwn out of office for waiting our money!!
Do you have a brain in real life, or do you just have a hard time thinking and typing at the same time?
How do you wait money?
Hello, mr. dollar, how are you today?
Why, I'm fine, thanks for asking!
Can I do anything for you today?
Sure, how about a nice tall glass of STFU and bring me my mo' fo' iced tea!
Obama hasn't "wasted" money . . . you are listening to LIARS on Fox.

Oops did I type this out loud!
People dis Montreal as a money-loser. The Olympics of Montreal era was amateur athletes, minimal corporate sponsorship and minimal commercialism. Lots of nationalism and ego, but minimal commercialism.
That all changed with 1984 LA Olympics which was Reagan-style "If you can't run for big sponsorship money, don't put on the shoes." Big bucks. Forget fame, show me the money. Top athletes pulling in a couple million a year with sponsorship deals.
In short, the key reason to oppose the Olympics in Chicago is pure personal politics.
Chicago and Chicagoans should decry any notion of obtaining the penultimate "world class" sporting event because it might not make a lot of money.
Chicago will fail at the Olympics because prior games have been nominal on making money or have lost money.
Chicago is overrun with criminals who will - if the games do make money - will take all the money and prestige away from the games.
1. Why do you hate America and want us to lose the opportunity for hosting a universally admired multi-cultural event?
2. Why do you hate Chicago and assume "the City that works" will fail, notwithstanding you know nothing about the city, the bid, or what has been proposed for development and infrastructure upgrade?
3. If your premise is that the Olympics are a money loser, why don't you want the Mafi. . . (the Outfit) involved? After all, they'll lose money.
Notwithstanding all your hosed up logic, as a Chicago suburbanite, let me add: Glen, why uhah don'ts youse go fuuuuhhkkk yooself, over buuuy deere. Jagg offf.
