Oh, and it was Dobbs that let the claim go without question. I'm shocked. Well, math isn't exactly one of the rights stronger points. Too "sciencey".

Yup. And 2M tea partiers were in DC last month. See? Don't let silly little facts get in the way of a good phony story ...

Poor Lou-ser just seems a few steps behind on every subject. I saw a bit of his show tonight, and he played a clip of Jimmy Carter slooowly explaining his remark that caused such outrage a while back about racism.

Lou replayed the original remark, and then told his audience that Carter had not said what he claimed he did (he clearly had), because Lou still didn't understand it.

Wrong about the age, wrong about the state, wrong about the older man, wrong about who came to whom, wrong about the condom.

      1. "Brewster" was 17 or (late) 16.

      2. The school was in Massachusetts (age of consent=16).

      3. We don't know how old the man was.

      4. Jennings confronted Brewster, not the other way round.

      5. The condom quote wasn't given as an approval for sex in the future. It was "I hope you were smart enough to use a condom." HUGE difference. Not to mention, it was 1988 and Brewster had sex with a stranger. Of course Jennings was worried about AIDS.

Seriously, did this guy bother to read any of this first hand?

They never bother to read the details. Sensationalism is just so much more FUN! Also, facts rarely give these people the results they desire.

Another "scandal" created by Fox News and now other networks are covering this none story. What ever happened to checks and balance and common sense? Twenty years ago and no criminal charges is something you can't hold against anyone. Hell, Jennings wrote about this incident in his own book and it happened when he was a young man. Many of us had poor judgment during our early years?
Fox News' Sean [Klan]nity is sitting back laughing at all the suckers who help make this News. This is more stupidity coming from the right and it is an insult to intelligent people (should be).
Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Fox News make it clear that they are going after Obama and his administration? So why are other networks falling for this foolishness disguised as News? This is nothing more than Bill Ayers and Rev Wright guilt by association BS. Fox News should be the story, not Jennings. FOX News is masterminding and creating News and calling it "controversy" or a "scandal" for the sole purpose of making other people look bad. This is not Real News and it is not right and they should be held accountable.

It's always "counseling" when done on the left! Didn't Bill "counsel" Monica?
