          The Tenant is pretty interesting. Repulsion is also an amazing film although a tad ironic (not to mention kind of creepy) given his sordid history...

              Many years ago. I didn't care for it much. I felt that the pace was a little slow. I probably should see it again because I have watched films in the past where, upon the first viewing, I didn't care for them but on a subsequent viewing found them to be quite good, even brilliant.

              I saw it a long time ago and like it. I'm waiting for "Repulsion" from Netflix.

              My favorite is "Chinatown".

        Sure, she's the one making an epic stretch to inject an anal rape reference into her argument, such as it is, but it's liberals who are looking to put sexuality where it doesn't belong. Got it.

        That reminds me, we really need an eye-rolly smilie here.

          The noise coming from the right seems to be that liberals are falling all over themselves to defend Polanski. Funny, since I've been listening to Air America the last few days where several hosts, especially Montel Willliams, have been continuously making the case (almost to the exclusion of any other subject) that he should be brought to America for trial. Probably the most foremost journal of liberal/left though, The Nation, has also made no secret of its opinion that Polanski needs to face the music.
