"I think he represents cynicism."
"Are you saying Glenn Beck is bad for America?"
Whatever, who cares. GOP=Irrelevant regional party.
"But I'd consider kissing his butt if we can win an election or two..."
The backlash is coming your way Rodeo Clown...3, 2, 1...
Graham's isn't the kind of political analysis that I buy into.
Keep in mind that protesting in general has been a dirty word among many conservatives. Angry masses focused on your political rivals is one thing, but angry masses, especially given a high profile by certain news outlets, can also be an embarrassement.
Its a weird dynamic in a way. Angry leftist mobs have been so marginalized that it is easy for democrats to distance themselves from them politically and rhetorically. Having tea baggers represent the definitive definition of the conservative movement puts the more sober GOP political operatives in a tight spot.
Just a few years ago he was on the fringe of the party with the likes of Gingrich.

So, when Glenn Beck admitted that we are better off under Obama than we would've been under McCain (and Palin!), he's no longer credible in Mr. Graham's political world. Very well, Mr. Graham, you have made yourself abundantly clear, at least to this voter. You won't even discuss the possibility, given economics is currently our number one domestic problem, and McCain has a self-admitted lack of understanding of the subject? I've been enjoying your moderate conservative shtick, but you've just exposed it as a farce. See you in 2010!
Yeah, he just launched his campaign. We will see if Limbaugh and his BFF Beck will launch a firing squad tirade on Monday. They want Palin to run is my guess. Nothing better than having Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Rice, Jeb Bush et all back on the sadle.
I think Lindseed will be out of the closet by then and have no chance at the prezidency either.
Pailn & Beck...?
That tells me all I need to know on where Sen. Graham stands. Which would be right next to the teabaggers, et al.
