I just love the way Fox asks a question.

      "I think he represents cynicism."

"Are you saying Glenn Beck is bad for America?"

Doubt it! Maybe to Rush though. No cricizm when Beck was 100% smearing Dems. The second he says something bad about McCain the barbs come out!

Whatever, who cares. GOP=Irrelevant regional party.

Could it be that Becky is finally being seen though like a glass window? Will he get appologized to by the GOP? Hmmmm. I will wait and see this one. It happened before why not again.

I think the glass window is beginning to widen and clear up, as more and more conservatives realize that that overwhelming lies from Beck and others are are nailing the GOP coffin closed. I am seeing more and more of them easing up and backing away from any support to these falsities.

Graham is just angry because Becky dissed Lindsay's boy, John McCain.

Graham's isn't the kind of political analysis that I buy into.

I just heard David Brooks on Meet the Press say similar things. In my opinion both Graham and Brooks represent a more responsible conservative leadership that is willing to, at times, analyze and think independently. I wonder if we will be seeing more of this distancing from hannity/beck/limbaugh from the GOP, especially when the angry mob base has outlived its usefullness.

Keep in mind that protesting in general has been a dirty word among many conservatives. Angry masses focused on your political rivals is one thing, but angry masses, especially given a high profile by certain news outlets, can also be an embarrassement.

Its a weird dynamic in a way. Angry leftist mobs have been so marginalized that it is easy for democrats to distance themselves from them politically and rhetorically. Having tea baggers represent the definitive definition of the conservative movement puts the more sober GOP political operatives in a tight spot.

What's really ironic here, is that Graham is trying to sound like a responsible republican.

Just a few years ago he was on the fringe of the party with the likes of Gingrich.

I suspect Mr. Graham of thinking ahead to 2012, and who will lead the GOP back to the White House. His hard right position is still fairly hard right, demonstrable by the fact that "...when a person says he represents conservatism, and that the country is better off with Barack Obama than John McCain, that sort of ends the debate for me..."

So, when Glenn Beck admitted that we are better off under Obama than we would've been under McCain (and Palin!), he's no longer credible in Mr. Graham's political world. Very well, Mr. Graham, you have made yourself abundantly clear, at least to this voter. You won't even discuss the possibility, given economics is currently our number one domestic problem, and McCain has a self-admitted lack of understanding of the subject? I've been enjoying your moderate conservative shtick, but you've just exposed it as a farce. See you in 2010!

Yeah, he just launched his campaign. We will see if Limbaugh and his BFF Beck willlaunch a tirae on Monay. They want Palin to run is my guess. Nothing better than having Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Rice, Jeb Bush et all back on the sadle.

Yeah, he just launched his campaign. We will see if Limbaugh and his BFF Beck will launch a firing squad tirade on Monday. They want Palin to run is my guess. Nothing better than having Cheney, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz, Rice, Jeb Bush et all back on the sadle.

Note carefully chosen words. I choose not to watch Beck" does not imply isgreement with Beck. Every minute he watches Beck is one minute he is not oing his job. Very clever.

That tells me all I need to know on where Sen. Graham stands. Which would be right next to the teabaggers, et al.
