Looks like Will took his hairpiece to the drycleaners recently. Looks just like new.

Speaking of vanity Will, what's with that dead possum on your head. Don't you think that is kind of...errum...vain!

        EPIC hypocritical FAIL!

Unlike, say, coaching St. Ronnie for a debate, and then going on TV to talk about what a great job the Gypper did in said debate without mentioning the coaching. That sort of thing is totally selfless and patriotic.

My absolute favorite: Find The 'Hidden' Danger Game!

"What's alarming is, whether it indicates a belief on the part of the President which is that there is no problem that will not melt before the sunshine of his charm." -George Will

"What's alarming is, whether rooting for your country NOT to get the Olympic games, and calling your lawfully elected President names on national TV indicates that Mr. Will's cover story is blown, and he will soon be revealed as an al Qaeda operative." -The_Cat

      See? Anyone can play.

Beltway pundits like Will cannot stand a black man as president who is smarter as they are.

      That's what this is.

Because it is patently absurd to think that the U.S. president trying to help bring the Olypmics to our country is based on vanity.

....but Bush going to the Bejing Olympics for 2 days to sit on his arse and watch Olympic lawn bowling or whatever, in the middle of 2 failing wars and a failing financial system was 'good for America' apparently.

        Hypocrits!

So based on this logic, Hong Kong, Spain & Brazil also have serious problems with their leaders' egos, too, since they all tried to the Olympics to their respective countries.

      Stikin' conceited b-terds!

Yeah, why don't we get more shy, insecure underachiever types leading countries?

The saddest part of this is that Will is considered one of the cons "thinkers", and he's basically using the same playbook on this issue that the most inept wingnut posters here were using a couple days ago.

        And they were laughed at.

You mean he doesn't yell and scream, he just says really stupid things, without screaming.

            What a boring, vain toad
            Makes our brain-cells explode

I'm sure each of us have a 'hometown,' be it the one we were born in, or one we adopted just as President Obama came to adopt Chicago. For me, it is Charleston, IL which was so formulative to me during my college career.

I watched the Obama's deliver their speeches and did not see the vanity that Mr. Will speaks of. I saw a pride and love of a hometown. Atlanta, LA, Salt Lake City, Lake Placid. Why not Chicago?

      That was vanity?
As opposed to maybe, landing on an aircraft carrier in a flight suit to announce "Mission Accomplished!" two months into a 7 years and counting war?

Also, wouldn't that be great if someone on the panel said that back to him. Love to see him weasel out of that one.

Well, hell, George -- just out of curiosity, did you consider George W. Bush's support of that SAME Olympic bid to be "rooted in vanity"?

And, if so, does that mean the world "rejected Bush" as much as they supposedly "rejected Obama"?

Will's just mad because the International Olympic Committee is going to be dropping baseball as an Olympic sport.

After all, North America already wins the "World Series" every year, why bother having another "World" competition?

Will is supposed to be one of the intellectual heavyweights on the Republican side. He's outclassed by my 18-year-old nephew who only cares about girls and sports. ANOTHER epic fail there, buddy.

Of course. Anytime a Dem does anything it's about vanity or ambition. Of course when a Rep does the exact same thing it's about patriotism and love of country. Go figure.
