Hannity: "Maybe if Obama" hadn't been going "around the world criticizing the U.S.," the Olympics might have picked U.S.

Obama has not "gone around the world criticizing the US"- that's just a stupid reichwing talking point endlessly bleated by Hannity and his mindless ilk.
If Obama HAD been "criticizing the US," I thought that would have been popular among nations that "hate us" (another Hannity straw man,) and made it MORE likely we'd get the Olympics.
Finally- are revolting hypocrites like Hannity actually going to spend this week bemoaning the fact that the US didn't get the Olympics, after spending Friday crowing over it? Gotta give them points for audacity, I guess.
BTW, Sean, you should get down on your knees every hour and thank God for making stupid people because without stupid people listening you would not have a show.
Maybe if President Bush hadn't spent eight years trying to destroy what made America a great nation the Olympic committee would've had a different opinion. That didn't even occur to you, though, right? You were just fundamentally incapable of making that leap?
"[E]arly this morning a 14-year-old boy was chased down a Chicago street and beaten with a pipe. ... This event occurs on the heels of the murder of Derrion Albert, the 16-year-old honor student who was beaten to death in a gang fight, and at the same time the president is lobbying to bring the Olympics to Chicago, which begs the question: Is this a city where we want the Olympics taking place?" Uh-oh, Hannity. Looks like YOU were trashing America. Hey, maybe it's YOUR fault!
The same violence happens in Rio, even around Ipanema, they are going to have a real chore cleaning that turkey up.
Hannity: If only Obama had instead shocked-and-awed Denmark, Chicago would have gotten the Olympics.
If he didn't go to the Olympics bid, he would of been criticized for now showing up when all other heads of state showed up and yet if he did show up, they still criticize him. It's pathetic. Damned if he does, damned if he doesn't.
There is no winning against right-wing conservative logic...

ahhhh no such thing as conservative logic>>>>>>>>> i would think more like conservative un-logic or ill-logic.
Actually, I suspect that Rio was just too appealing this time, particularly with a "never in South America" factor.
When are you gonna realize -- Obama didn't fly around the world criticizing the US . . . he flew around the world criticizing his PREDECESSOR.
I forget, though; you considered Bush and America to be the same entity . . .
But I guess having a rational discussion about the issue isn't as captivating as utter stupidity.
Lula da Silva had campaigned for at least the last three years to bring the Olympics to Brazil
By the way Rio's murder rate is about the same as Chicago's, does that mean this might be a new Olympic event, in which case the finals might be between Cape Town and Baltimore.
