Actually, I'm sure all the OxyContin El Rushbo injested over the years left his testicles like two shrivelled-up marbles.....

Limbaugh spent eight years claiming that he was a Conservative, and not an Establishment Republican- he claimed this even as he spent the first several months of 2000 trashing John McCain and pimping for George Bush in the Republican primaries. He found a "conservative argument" to support everything Bush did during his Presidency and bleated the same talking points Hannity, Ingraham, and the rest of the RNC shills did, all along insisting that he was a Conservative, not a Republican. He wasn't enthusiastic about McCain last year mainly because he was looking forward to having a Democratic president to trash and was sick of carrying water- but carrying water is what he did, and shamelessly.

And now that he's got a new target, he hasn't the slightest idea of what to do with it. The 1990s playbook just isn't working anymore, Rush. Maybe you should just call it a day?

Since when is moderation and reason associated with being neutered or chickified? Only when you're such a manly man like the super masculine Rush Limbaugh. I can smell the testosterone from here... Rush, you are SUCH a man... ;>)

Or he's a big scale model of an infant. He's immature, irrational and dependent on attention. Let's not forget he flaps his arms around uncontrollably and probably wears a diaper.

Well, let's all be boys in the locker room. I loved the uncomfortalbe looks from the women when Joe was making his statements. But it was good of Joe to make this point. There is a difference between being a Barry Goldwater, small government, strong defense, balanced budget conservative and these in your bedroom, in your face social conservatives who cut taxes and raise spending to fight wars and blow-up the budget and then scream about God and Patriotism. It is dangerous to the country, far more dangerous than anything Russ Feingold and Bernie Sanders could come up with in their wildest progressive/socialist dreams.

Well said, epk. I feel exactly the same way. The sooner we can relegate these loons and their leaders (Rush, Beck, etc.) to the political trash heap and get on with the adult conversations, the sooner this country will see actual progress.

You said it, epk! The Republicans have become absurdly extreme. The sooner the Democrats stop trying to appease them and just move forward on their own (which the Republicans did as much and as often as they could), the better. We need to relegate the wingnuts to the sidelines where they belong and let the adults run things again. We should not even bother trying to talk to anybody who thinks that screaming about death panels, or Obama's birth certificate, or socialism; they have no connection to reality and are not interested in trying to work things out. They are flagrantly dishonest and corrupt. It is not worth trying to compromise with those who only want to see the Democrats and Obama fail.

Rush acting like a cartoon character...Mika enough of the insults towards cartoons characters. Remember, Mr. Magoo can see everything clearer than Rush the Magic White Guy can.

Say it IS so, Joe. Love Todds' little quip concerning Rush speaking "from his mansion". A little dig about only talking about things but never going out to do something about them.

Ah, but then you aren't a conservative, so you wouldn't know a conservative if he walked up and hit you in the face. You are a Rushbot . . . you believe Rush is a conservative. He is not . . . he's an uneducated, overpaid hate talk radio Disc Jockey. That's all.

Joe said EXACTLY what I've been saying . . . Rush and his hateful ilk are NOT conservatives, they just play to and gin up hatred for anyone who is not a Republican. They don't care about conservative values and ideas because they really don't have any. People who believe these jerks are conservatives are not conservatives . . . they are just members of the Red team and members of the Red team have to hate members of the Blue team. They seem to forget that we are ALL members of the Red, White and Blue team.

Scarborough scores with a wonderful satire of Limbaugh's obsession with all things testicles! Recall Limbaugh's constant harping about Hillary Clinton's testicle lock box? Or his periodic cracks about some person or other having the "stones" or "onions" to do what Limbaugh believed to be correct?

Pardon the pun, but Scarborough hit Limbaugh right where he lives! It'll be interesting (and comical) to hear Rush's reaction

Let's have a little sympathy for poor, put-upon Rush, shall we? This means he's going to have to talk about himself, and we know, because he never tires of telling us, how much he hates to do that.

Great response by Scarborough, who unlike Rush uses facts like GOP spending and deficits to bolster his argument. But the best is yet to come. I can't wait for Rush's response today. The whining will be extreme and shrill, even by Limbaugh standards.

(Also, on a completely different subject, and I hereby exempt this from the thumb rating: Mika looks really hot today >;)

Children on the playground style discourse passes as savy insight. Limbaugh said my nuts are cut off well then I think his nuts are cut off...also, testicles are so funny but this kind of talk makes Mika frown.

P.S. Mika just now noticing the "cartoon character" that is Rush Limbaugh. What planet has she been living on for the past 15.

Well, Yeah, Rush certainly did. But Joey criticizing Rush for excessive subserviance to Bush is kinda like an 1,100 pound man making fun of a 1,200 man's obesity. He certainly had a right to respond, but...just saying.

Ah, the gauntlet (not to be confused with a girly glove) has been thrown! The lowest of all possible insults - accusing a man of being "feminine" in the RWers' view of what feminine means - has been slung, and Joe responds by insulting Lumpy's manhood. Wish these sexists would just cancel each other out and go away.

So Joe is the "real" conservative? So what, if we followed true conservative principles we'd be in a hell of bind today. A freeze on spending today would be disastor. During Scarboroughs term as Senator we saw gridlock in the Senate and an attempt to overturn the presidency on the basis of some sex scandal. So now the two bullies are going after each other...Good,let the ego's clash. They both are childlike and neither deserve the platform they have or whatever power or influence they think they have.

As a Liberal I want to say this to Scarborough:

Good Job. I havnt follwed you much over the last 8 years but if you truely have stuck to your beliefs and not said what was politically smart or benifital at the timeyou should be admired for that, even though you beliefs run counter to my own.

This is a pretty sexist talk show, and ironically at the same time he is pretty much ignoring the women there when they are trying to talk, and talking right over them for the most part..

Let the conservatives fight, while the rest of the people in reality try to fix the USA.

And is anyone else completely creeped out when he does that wink + click sound + point his gun finger at the camera?

I am. I don't understand this praise of Joe Scarborough I'am reading here. Your right, he treats Mika like a silly girl and peop[le are talking about him sticking to principles? What was it that Mika's father told him? It was true then and it's still true. He is embarassingly misinformed. As far as I'am concerned they both have too much influence and what we're seeing is a battle of their sexist ego's. Have at it! I can't stand either one of them.

I'd never condone sexism, and admittedly I don't watch this show much at all, but from I've seen she dishes it out right back to him -- and I don't sense disrespect from either. I know married couples like that who get along great but also engage in friendly trash talk. Could be wrong, but that's all I take that as.
