Yes, "Peace" and inspiration is an apology, not the function of a better and safer society. Mike Gallagher, if it wasn't for "peace," you wouldn't have a pot to p*ss in.

The American right complains when their politicos can't get cooperation for their oversea adventures, but never seem to connect their own arrogance toward the rest of the world as a possible cause. People in other countries have TeeVees and the internets and everything. They know that the right in this country is blindly jingoistic and holds the rest of the world in deep contempt.

I seem to remember the "coalition of the willing" as well as Bush constantly reminding us that Poland and Belarus (or some other minor Asian country) were allied with us in occupying Iraq as if that meant the world at large was in agreement.

apology tour,,,why is it fox news are so against this president when he speaks the truth,,,apologizing to the world for the mistakes that america made is not a sign of weaknes but a sign of strngth and humility,,,these people over at fox and the right which claim to be so morally upright act as if its a sin to admit any mistakes we've ever made,,,how does one receive forgiveness if one doesnt acknowledge they've made mistakes?,,,,,,the hiprocasy on the right is unbelievable

This is sooooo stupid! He hasn't apologised for anything! All he has done is acknowledge that Europe and US have notions of each other that need to be changed and need to reflect each others accomplishments, said that the war in Iraq was a war of choice (it was a pre-emptive war so by definition that makes it a choice! wrong one though!) and thats it! The rest is in their heads! Just because he doesn't go around the world saying "America F#%K YEAH!!!" doesn't mean he hates it! I am so sick of these ppl claiming they are the only patriotic Americans! & for the record how could the US not have made mistakes? Its a country run by ppl not run by god himself

Are these conservatives concerned at all about US isolation with the attitude of the previous administration? We will be burdened with paying off the vast majority of the cost for Iraq over the next several decades. We have lost the vast majority of non Iraqi lives in that war due to the - Go it alone- My way or the highway- you're with us or against us attitude.Even if you are too arrogant to value collaboration, what about who pays for it ..we do!!
It shows how much the world is looking to The US to lead by example not by aggression!.Maybe we will get a better outcome with Iran!
