If there was money to me made under the guise of spreading 'conservatism' ( I am getting sick of the word), Limbaugh would happily buy and cheer an all black team. When would his listeners realize it?
      Probably never.

Maybe those Chickens are getting close to home.

No NFL team and soon, no judgeship for your beady little eyes.

Rush, you have always bragged about having the most listeners ever but you underestimated that total. Many more may not have been daily listeners but thanks to Media Matters etc., your message was sent out over the internet, using your own words, which have also come home to roost.

The real world is now being introduced to the real racist, Mr. Rush Limbaugh, businessman.

Time to answer for your hatred. I will personally continue to write to Mr. Rooney, owner of the Steelers and Ambassadore to Ireland to use his position as another owner to keep your grubby little paws off and racist attitude out of the National Football league. You can only destroy it. You have nothing positive to bring to the league or America, if we shall be honest.

Why not start your own league? You can try to entice your dittoheads to tryout.

Congrats to the world for waking up and seeing what a phony, liar and hater this man happens to be.

If you think people are out to stop you, it is the first thing you have been right about in 10 years. YES WE CAN...jerk

Please focus for a moment. Read the following quote:
Look, let me put it to you this way: The NFL all too often looks like a game between the Bloods and the Crips without any weapons. There, I said it.
Now think about what you just read, and answer the following question:

Why the hell would you want someone who said that to be involved in any way with the ownership of an NFL team?

          Thank you.

Um, because it will suck his fat bank account dry in a matter of a few years, and when his show is canceled, will guarantee he becomes homeless and destitute. From there, he can get a view of an America he never knew existed, and perhaps have a Grinch-like rebirth? Of course, he'd have to have a heart in the first place.

I say let him sink all his money into this team and watch it fail. I'm not a football fan, but THAT I would watch.

rush owns his show, and he won't cancel himself until he retires or passes the show on to someone else... you can hope for the 500 to 600 hundred stations that bought and air his show cancel it, one station at a time... your best bet is for rush, whom you can count on to say something politically incorrect every day, to say something so egregious that corporations such as clearchannel, who own many stations that carry rush, instruct their affiliates to drop him...

              good luck...

That would never happen, unless Clear Channel were to be bought out by some other company. Clear Channel agrees with the things that Rush spews out daily.

Sorry fair one but the country is going to "deny" this pig his rights. We are ganging up on your poor leader.

But of course, Rooney is an obama appointee so how good can he be.

Rush the WANNABE OWNWER shall never get his dream. Unless of course Obama fails. Then he'll be happy.

Sorry FAIR...the mouthpiece and thinker of the Cons may get a job selling hots dogs at an NFL Stadium but he won't be owning it.

Rush Limbaugh is going to start hearing some ugly things said about him...and he's not going to be able to blame the liberal media. This might be a wake-up call for Limbaugh and his followers. Chances are they'll just blame it all on black people...

Let's see how Rush handles it.

If he is the man he believes himself to be, he'll go right after those black players that "misunderstand" him. Anything less that that will be a sign of weakness. How can he lead anyone who talks about him like that?

Go get 'em Rush..show these athletes how tough you are. Don't backdown or have Hannity lead the way for you.

Let's consider the Rams your Nobel Prize, Rush. What have you done to earn it? You have money, big deal. This is a game played by men of all races and religions. if the NFL checks your background, they will surely find that you have insulted, berated and critized every race. You are an Equal Opportunity Hater. And then the can look at your bashing of women.

Hey, Rush, you said these things, be a man and own them.

Sweet dreams...there is probably some midget league team in Florida looking for a sponser to put on their jerseys.

He's a total wimp. He won't call out Mathias Kiwanuka, who with a sentence, kicked Limbaugh to the curb. Limbaugh will probably take it out on President Obama or Michael Steele.

ACORN and the SEIU are responsible for all smears directed to this racist. Rushs' parrots will start spouting that he is misquoted.

The incredible thing about Rush is that you don't need a hidden camera to get his lunacy on tape..he does it willingly, for the right price.

Rush yo yo yo, you made your money by being you....now you are responsible for your words. I believe your whole anti-American movement insists on that.

Rush will be known for the nut he has become.

One thing for sure, Rush will convince his sheep that he is being picked on and they will defend their leader...while he sits back and laughs at them. What will you do?

"the jeff christie thing"?... it's no secret rush had many radio gigs before he made it big... but i'm sure you must be referring to the first website that comes up in a "jeff christie" google search... a site that, in your zeal to confirm rush is a hypocritical closeted gay, clearly notes via legal disclaimer that all of it's material is a parody... because if any of it is true the drive-by's would already have had a field day with this years ago...

Now one thing that might be entertaining...the Ram players could offer Rush a try-out. If he scrimmages with them, they would consider playing for him.

Of course, he would get tackled and roughed up plenty...all in good fun, like the Crips & Blood comment.

          Again...
Look, let me put it to you this way: The NFL all too often looks like a game between the Bloods and the Crips without any weapons. There, I said it.
Is there some way to take this except as motivated by racism? I want to be fair here, but I'm not seeing what other interpretation there is. Is he commenting on the underlying nature of team sports? It seems like an odd criticism from someone who commented on football on television. Is he saying it's too much of a contact sport? Does he want them to play flag football or something? That seems strange from someone who talks about "chickification" or whatever. I thought he was a manly man and all.

And in either of those two cases, I don't understand why he would have any interest in owning a team. Surely he wouldn't think that he would be able to change either of those things. So otherwise, it pretty much sounds like when he sees black people tackling each other it reminds him of inner-city gangs.

          Thoughts?

The whole comment was motivated by the frequency of tattoos that are gang related in the NFL.

These players come from all walks of life but they are all dumb enough to get a tattoo that looks cool but has a hidden meaning that th majority of the public dose not see.

It was also blown way out of proportion.

It maybe only three players now, but these numbers will rise and the backlash from civil rights groups, will pressure the NFL to deny Limbaugh this team. Limbaugh is beyond offensive, mean-spirited, vile, evil, and scary. He is the closest thing to the Anit-Christ that we have in today's world. If he owns an NFL team, he may as well own a plantation with hundreds of slaves. He will be the Marge Schott of football, and a disgrace to not only the NFL, but to the entire nation.

I can't believe he's actually serious about this. Personally, I think it's a plot to get even with the sports world after the Donovan McNabb incident.

And isn't it a little TOO conveniant that he decides this AFTER a report comes out naming the Rams as the most LIBERAL football team in the NFL?
