Fox NEWS - bringing you all the up-to-date information on FOX NEWS about FOX NEWS. I love how they are balanced and fair critiquing themselves. Colmes' radio show is quite different than his OBVIOUSLY lucrative (hmmm there's another word for money-grubbing) gig on Fox. I was surprised how blunt he was and couldn't believe it was the same person. Hope he keeps the show. Not guest appearances on this alleged "news" channel.

What they conveniently neglect to mention is that on their "opinion" shows their "commentators" misrepresent facts under the guise of being legitmate newsmen. They will repeat a lie over and over again with increasing volume until Ma and Pa Kettle out in Foxland look at each other and say, "Yep, that Barack Hussein Obama is a Kenyan Communist alright."

And Colmes, trying his best, was never a counterweight to Hannity's big ego, like O Reilly's.
Who TF did Oreilly have for 'balance'? Mackaris?
Just because they read news for 5 minutes (and spew opinion misrepresented as news) does not make Fox News a news channel.

I love how Colmes laughed at Bill-O when O'Reilly said something about Colmes representing the liberal point of view with fervor. I think that says quite a bit.

oreilly bowled over colmes in that part of the interview... everything oreilly said, colmes agreed with and colmes couldnt counter with much. this is what oreilly does so it is no surprise.

Seems about right. After all, Alan was given the awful task of criticizing Fox News while on Fox News's payroll. Not only did he have to deal with that boorish loon, he had to step carefully around talking trash about his employer, so he didn't anger the powers that be too much by speaking the truth.

It's kind of like how Howard Kurtz is a bit timid to criticize CNN in his Washington Post columns, except the conflict of interests is a hell of a lot more blatant.

it wouldnt be that big of a blow for him if he got fired for criticizing fox, would it? i think it would hurt fox more than it would hurt colmes seeing as how that is one less liberal there, with the little amount that they have.

its funny, though, because his criticism of fox is soooo weaksauce... however, when you watch scarborough complain about olbermann and maddow for what they say, he rails against them pretty hard, but without saying their names.

now fox news is going to act like the victims, just like the moral majority says christians are being persecuted. Now we hear beck comparing fox news hosts to jews in nazi germany! the white house didn't call for the end of fox news, they simply made a comment on the fairness of fox news, in other words they made an opinion. so does that mean that only fox news hosts are allowed to have an opinion?

This reminds me of those moments, when in an open meeting, (ore even 1-1), your boss wants you to express your "honest opinion" about him and the company, and that there will be "no consequences" for that opinion.

Sure. Like that will ever happen!

Colmes isn't going to sit there and dis his own employer, and one of their star personalities (with the biggest ego) in front of the viewers.

I anticipate the day when someone like Colmes will just tell it as they see it, rip the microphone off & leave the stage, shouting, "I quit!".

Not on Bill O'Reilly's show...it's taped well before it airs. Colmes' actions would be editied out faster than you could order more motherÆ’ucking iced tea.
