Corsi flogs discredited CRA claims, says Obama "help[ed] ACORN extort banks"

ACORN was able to extort banks? The same banks that now have such tremendous lobbying power that they can take a trillion dollars in taxpayer money without the government instituting any type of new legitimate regulation? Those banks? Wow ACORN must be the most powerful community service organization in the world I guess to have such sway over government to press them to regulate the banks that they are incapable of otherwise regulating. Its funny to me also that the banks actually loved and thrived on these high risk mortgages for a while. And in the end, the winners in all of this is who? Certainly not the impoverished masses that ACORN represents and certainly not the taxpayers or the government but of course, those poor little banks who were bullied by the big, bad government that then, gave them billions in bonus money. So I guess the banks should be thanking ACORN for somehow forcing them to take on such risk because in the end, they got rich and everyone else got unemployed. This is a great conspiracy theory though because it allows FOX to blame both government (clinton and carter of course but definitely not Bush or Bush in between the two who would never deregulate big business) and some community organization like ACORN and essentially the lower class who were given the mortgages while completely absolving wall street of blame because they were forced to do it. Great job by conservatives to come up with this nonsense as it really walks the fine line that conservatism has carved out for them.
