      However, I would expect that type of shallow comment from a FOX "journalist".

        I've seen people here call Rose (from Quinn and Rose) horsey, ugly etc. I think of this as no better than those comments. These comments do no favours to women, especially young women.

        Chris Wallace is sexist and it's obvious, as are Bill O'Reilly, Hannity and Clusterfox.

          I could be wrong, but I'll bet that the authors of the comments to which you refer are not highly overpaid "journalists" like Wallace.

          I would hope that we can hold Mr. Wallace to a higher standard.

              With respect, the goose and gander are of the same species; in this case, to use a more appropriate saying, you're comparing apples and oranges.

              I agree that no one is served well and ultimately by childish attacks, but it's perfectly legitimate to criticize a professional journalist, broadcaster and commentator for behaving unprofessionally. Criticism of a non-professional for behaving unprofessionally doesn't carry the same punch, for obvious reasons. Equating a professional's unprofessional behavior to an unprofessional and anonymous comment on a website forum carries even less force, if any at all.

              Many journalists have commented that someone looks nice. Nothing wrong there. The problem, is in his delivery. He's not speaking respectfully about her.

        This is emblematic of the larger devolution of the American Free Press. The profit-driven Media Corporations have bastardized the News business to the point that Edward R. Murrow would be horrified to see it.

      On a scale of 1 to 10, this sexist comment ranks a 2.5. REALLY PEOPLE - what's the point? He didn't say he had a tingling feeling running up his leg. Don't we have more important issues to deal with??? Are we sooo PC that this merits our time and attention? COME ON!
