It was not his politics, Campbell. It was his offensive, racist attitude.

I think it's fair to say the issue is his politics when racism is in fact part of his political ideology. His resentment of the establishment press for not sharing his disdain for an African-American quarterback like Donovan McNabb. And this should put an end to any illusions on the part of Pigboy and his dildohead followers that this ideology of their is in any sense mainstream.

On the other hand, how characteristically mealy-mouthed of Brown to refer to such ideological thuggery as "controversial".

That word is what CNN is. They want to characterize his politics, so they say nothing but "controversial." CNN in the '80s was a real news organization. Now it's whatever this is. I remember when Time bought Warner Brothers. Now Time-Warner is looking to dump Time. News, shmooze.

Rush's own political ideology, not traditional conservatism.

Dave Checketts doesn't need Rush Limbaugh to buy the St. Louis Rams. Apparently Limbaugh was blowing smoke all this time he was suggesting he would have a major role in running the team. According to Checketts, Limbaugh, as a minority owner, would have had NO say in the running of the team. Limbaugh was nothing more than a curiosity. Checketts can find another investor to replace Limbaugh in a minute. The NFL doesn't need Rush Limbaugh...they're doing just fine without him and they certainly didn't need his baggage. The bottom line is that Limbaugh doesn't swing the heavy load he thinks he does.

In describing Limbaugh's attempted participation, "limited partner" is the term Checketts used...not "minority owner" as I indicated above.

Somehow, the words "Limbaugh" and "minority" seem to lead to some cognitive dissonance.

Who is dictating this liberal agenda to keep you away Rush? You just are a constant bigot with inflammatory rhetoric that makes minorities angry so they hate you. Its not politics you idiot. It called decency towards your fellow man - You should try it sometime. Of course, this confirms in Rush's mind that the liberals are out to get him. In any sane, rational person, this would be a sign that maybe it is time to tone down the rhetoric because if African Americans consider the comments you make day after day derisive enough than perhaps there is a stale racism contained within your general abundant disregard for almost everyone.

YES, and frankly, I am a Republican and I KNOW and have actually heard Rush's stupid racist remarks. Rush never speaks for me. I cringed at the thought of Rush having anything to do with an NFL team due to his obvious racism that is a matter of record in recordings of his remarks. The most egregious was his attempt to nice up slavery. Either he is totally ignorant of the beatings, the separation of families involving husbands, wives and even children. If he knows these things, his remark takes on sinister racism which I doubt or he is a totally insensitive monster. What black or white football player would play for any team in which he had any ownership knowing his comments about either themselves or their good friends and teammates.

Do you see Rush try to deny most of the racist statements attributed to him. He actually said he did not say these things.
How dumb is Rush and how dumb do he think people are? Rush never denied making these comments, until now.
Even if no one can't tie many of those notorious past incendiary comments to Rush, what does it matter? Look at all the recent comments, on a daily bases, this racist idiot said since Obama came on the scene. "Obama the magic Negro". "In Obama world white kids get beat up by black kids while other black kids cheer them on".
Come on folks, Rush made so many racist comments in this year alone. Too numerous to count. Feel free to add to my list.

Wow, it's amazing what Chris Matthews said. Chris said that if Limbaugh gets the team or if you cannot get the team is going to see himself as a victim. To which I might add, Rush, you're not a victim here, you are the victimizer.

If anyone disagreed with rush, he was automatically the victim of prejudice towards himself... I'm not biased against idiots like rush... However, I don't have to agree with anything they say...and I don't.

        Let rush's pity party begin.

        Thank you, NFL.
